Popped in here on the off chance that they would be able to fit us in for food... they were! There was a bit of a wait for the food, but when it arrived it was superb, Fantastic quality - clearly local produce and excellent portions. Would absolutely recommend going here for a meal, any day of the week. The...

Spent four nights at The Sea Trout (one more than planned!) and, once again, it did not disappoint. The breakfasts were tasty and filling, the restaurent evening meals exceptional and the beers (Palmer's of Dorset, who own the pub) satisfying The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times A single note - although not meriting a reduction in...

We stayed here in February with our little dog. Daisy was welcome in the bar every night and we reserved the same table. All the staff were fantastic. Breakfast lovely and evening meal choice very good. From the pub are the most amazing walks. Would recommend to any couples, families or dog lovers. Thank you to everyone at the inn....

Popped in for lunch. Service was friendly and fairly prompt. I had the special of calves liver and friend had the gammon. Mine was very tough and the liver had not been trimmed or arteries removed. It was not cheap for mash, liver, bacon and a sprinkling of French beans.. £12.95..and I would have expected better quality. I did comment...

Been here for a meal many times as we live not far away. It has a very nice atmosphere and the staff are really friendly, but we went yesterday and the decor really does need a freshen up and we were quite disappointed with our fish and chips. The fish was very dry, and what is it with the peas...

Spent a Saturday evening dining here based on some of the other reviews. The menu selection was ok and the food was all very fresh and very enjoyable. Portion sizes also represented good value for money. However the atmosphere seemed a bit lack lustre. Don't get me wrong wasn't bad and the food was excellent as were the staff. Just...
