Clean and well presented rooms with all amenities you could want. Good quality breakfast :-) Friendly and unobtrusive owners who provided a great stay and good advice on places to eat & drink. .................................................................................................

Simon and Viv were marvellous hosts, we stayed in Room 5 (the annex) and were delighted with the room. The breakfast was superb, the room was superb, the food was superb. I think SUPERB is the word that comes to mind, lol. I hope that the next time we stay there, whoever takes over from Simon and Viv can keep...

Stayed for one night while doing the South West Coast Path. Excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome. They suggested the Bassett Arms for an evening meal and was certainly a good recommendation. A very good breakfast. Sheila/Martin

Our 2nd visit to Cliff House reminded us why we'd liked it in the first place! Brilliant location, so close to the lovely little unspoilt beach. Simon and Viv are very welcoming and rustle up a cracking breakfast! Sad to hear they're selling up and moving on but wish them the best of everything for the future.

I shared a twin room with a friend; it was clean and neat and breakfast was good. Portreath itself is horrible but we ate in a decent pub (the name of which escapes me) recommended by the owner of the guesthouse. He got coast path walking times badly wrong though!

Cliff House was just what we needed after a hard day's walking - welcoming hosts, clean and comfortable bedroom and big ensuite. And a very nice breakfast the next day! The adjacent inner harbour was ponging at low tide but was being cleaned out as we left

We spent one night here while walking the South West Coast Path and found this B&B just perfect. Our room was very clean and fresh, nicely decorated in a seaside theme. A very comfortable bed ensured we had a great night’s sleep. The WiFi connection was reliable and free. Hosts Simon and Viv made sure we had everything we needed,...

Stayed here with my wife while we were attending a wedding. The room was great, the breakfast was great, and the people were fantastic. In a beautiful setting and surrounded by places of interest. We're on our way back there this year. 👍👍👍

Cliff House is one step off the path! The rooms and very well appointed and immaculate. Breakfast was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Can definitely recommend! Portreath was a nice surprise, it looks quite small on the map, but is a pretty harbour, with good facilities.

Very pleased with everything! Nice room and en-suite shower room - all very clean. Lovely breakfast to set us up for the days walking, included cereal, toast and full English or any combination that you wanted. Very conveniently situated right on the South West Coast Path.
