Excellent food, enchanting environment, helpful and friendly staff, very clean rooms, great shalas to practice yoga, a most healthy nest from all points of view, and surely the most charming place in the area.

My brother and I spent six days over Christmas at Ashiyana and had a wonderful time. The location is idyllic and seconds from a beautiful beach with perfect swimming conditions. The yoga holiday provides great value for money as the rate includes accommodations, two yoga classes a day, beautifully prepared vegetarian brunch and dinner buffets and unlimited filtered water, chai...

My friend and I spent 7 nights in Ashiyana. 2 nights in the beach hut and 5 nights in the one of the Palm Grove rooms. The beach huts are basic so do not expect much, but they are clean and quaint. The Palm Grove room was perfect and HUGE! Had 3 beds and 2 bathrooms! Very neat! The yoga...

A profoundly life changing experience. A journey into the full yoga experience physically and spiritually, at beautiful Ashiyana. An opportunity to meet people from all over the world, share our journeys of life and faith, learn and explore under the friendly and competent guidance of Gary. See the dolphins dance in the warm sea and watch the sunsets on beautiful...

I was extremely fortunate to have stumbled upon Ashiyana through a friend who had done his teacher training there. After hearing how wonderful it was I had to visit. But there is no way I can put into words quite how wonderful and magical it is, and I will probably over-use the word 'amazing' trying to do so... I stepped...

From the moment I arrived here I was blown away. Such incredible surroundings and location. The staff were super - very friendly and always helpful. I stayed in a Beach Hut which I loved - it's a little 'back to nature' but perfect for this sort of holiday. I started my stay with a week long yoga retreat - I...

We only enjoyed the spa at Ashiyana and the experience was amazing. They have many treatments/massage/yoga that they offer. We have tried the shiatsu, cranio-sacral and deep tissue massages and they were all amazing and extremely relaxing. 👍🏻☀️ The only problem is that you must have cash on you - they do not accept card, which makes everything quite difficult...

Thanks for your review Ishka. We are glad that you were able to enjoy Ashiyana even though you were not staying with us. The money scenario is, as you mention, a challenge, but unfortunately the government have surprised the whole country with this and we are adapting where possible. Regarding the wi-fi. As a retreat, in the true meaning of...

We stayed here on a yoga holiday to celebrate my birthday. I wanted to try something immersive as currently I do yoga once a week and my husband has done yoga on and off in the past. The yoga holiday was great as it allowed the flexibility and freedom to choose how much or how little you wanted to do....

What a lovely place! The food is to die for (best momos I've ever eaten, cooked by a genuine Tibetan chef), the staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the grounds are beautiful (just smaller than I expected). The rooms are luxurious (the mattresses are firm though) and there is a book exchange in reception. Wifi is limited to reception...

We wanted to go to Goa for some sun. The wife wanted to try some yoga classes, I just wanted some peace and quiet, so we thought - let's try a Yoga Retreat! Then, to make it easy, we just booked the #1 and #2 reccos on TripAdvisor for 4 days each. One's a bit jungly (Ashiyana), the other's right...
