Was recommended to Avalon Inn by a friend, initially booked their bungalow (thatched hut) for 3 days but ended up extending my stay for 2 more days. The property is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the beach (5 minutes walk). The beach is beautiful, the sunsets are a visual treat. Avalon Inn provides beach towels and...

We stayed at Avalon Inn for a couple of nights and didn't find a reason to not consider visiting this beautiful place again. Located not very far from the beach and local marketplace, it's very well maintained with a lovely garden and clean rooms. Erika and Salvador are very welcoming and helpful hosts and made our stay very comfortable. Highly...

The place was beautifull and the owner Erika was very helpful with everything. She was always there for us making sure we had a pleasant stay. She arranged taxis, gave us tips on the best local rest., etc. Would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

My husband and I went stayed at the Avalon Inn with a couple of our friends. The duration of our stay was a short one - only one night and two days - and that is something that I really regret, since to truly enjoy a stay at Avalon, one needs at three or four nights. We had rented one...

Avalon Inn is located only a short walk away from the beach and the route is very pleasant. I love how it is away from the crowd, unspoilt and quiet. I really appreciated that Erika showed me the way to the beach, shops and restaurants. The first night I stayed in one of the two pleasant cottages with toilet and...

We stayed here for two nights. It's ok however is overpriced considering how far away it is from the beach and having to use a communal shower. We have now moved to within 5 meters of the beach with our own shower and free wifi for the same price. It's clean and nice however stay somewhere else for the same...

Avalon Inn is located 350 meters from Mandrem Beach and most guests need around five minutes to take the scenic walk alongside a fallow rice paddy, across the plank bridge at Mandrem Creek and over the barrier sand dune. Being slightly back from the beach has allowed us to plant a large garden with many flowering and fruit-bearing trees which...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Avalon Inn last march. We loved it. The place is spotless, we stayed in a little bungalow in the middle of the perfect garden. There are 5 simple but charming huts. All of them have a toilet and washroom. The shower is outside, we were not very happy at first but this was what...

Avalon is a hidden away gem in Mandrem. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, making your stay one to remember. Even though the property is a little away from the beach, the walk is nice and the nights are very quiet and one can get a good nights sleep. The Inn offers two different types of accommodation, huts and...

my boyfriend and I arrived in Goa after a hectic trip from the North and we were keen to stay somewhere peaceful and nice, tucked away from the main bustle, which was good value but also clean, safe and quiet. We stayed for a few weeks during the busy Christmas season and had a wonderful time. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach which means it is away from the hustle, bustle. It is a lovely quiet retreat for those who are looking for calm in Goa. We spent some time in the huts and the cottages and...
