Jason and Claire Bridger made this a trip of a lifetime for me. The service was outstanding and the staff very friendly. My tent was better than any hotel and there were lots of animals around camp. The meals were top of the line!!! Thanks again I just cant say enough. I will be back again.....

Motswiri lodge is the control in which all plains game African hunting should be judged by. Not only was the camp clean, hospitality exceptional, staff open and friendly, the hunting is unparalleled! The quality of the game is exceptional, probably due to years of ecotourism only. I don't quite understand these negative reviews. My professional hunter, Jason, was always with...

After a very long drive down from Maun we arrived at the gate of the Motswiri Lodge fenced area only to find the gate unmanned and locked? We then drove six kilometres along a very badly rutted private road to a second gate only to find this was also locked and unmanned. By this time it was getting late on...

What an awesome place to have a break from the bustling city. On the night of arrival we were seated for a scrumptious dinner in the Boma under the starry sky, with a bomb fire near by and hot coals under our seats to keep the chill at bay. We stayed for 10 days and i can honestly say i was...

A very nice lodge, great hospitality, food and service. I agree with Nina though that hunting and game viewing do not mix, they need to take place in totally different areas. The animals were very skittish.

A nice lodge, great service, good home-cooked food, but on the basic side. The rhino-tracking on foot was the highlight. Meeting a San Bushman and walking through the bush with him was another one, specially when he disappeared down a porcupine hole! However the animals were extremely skittish. We found out later that they take hunters out as well, which...

I was very surprised to read such a negative report on Motswiri lodge, we certainly found this not the case. We had great game viewing, even spotting a rare leopard on the reserve. Horse riding and on foot tracking of the resident rhinos, made this a very special place. Sitting watching game drink from the water hole outside the lodge,...

I booked this place based on their website which comes across as being a family run friendly place. Definitely not worth the hours drive on gravel road from Ghanzi. We were here for one night and not once did any of the owners appear. We were met on arrival by a member of staff who pointed to a cool box...

Just back from a fantastic Kalahari experience. We (husband and I) had planned a trans-Kalahari trip from Gaborone to Windhoek, initially thinking we would make the journey in one hit. However, a couple of days before we were due to leave, we got into conversation with a guy at the Bull and Bush pub in Gabs. who said we were...
