I stayed at the Meadow House for 2 nights whilst away on a uni placement in nearby Newmarket. I was given a warm greeting, and was shown to a lovely warm, clean and comfortable room. Each morning I was cooked a great breakfast to set me up for the day. I was unsure if I would finish my day in...

I stayed here for one night due to being in the area for work. My office booked this guesthouse for me & when I read some of the reviews I was quite concerned. However I did not need to worry as I had a great stay. When I arrived I was welcomed by the owner who showed me where my...

Stayed here for one night as attending a family celebration in Burwell and then a walk with the Ramblers the following day at Anglesey Abbey. Arrived later than expected but no problem as a note left for us gave us room information and contact details if needed. Had a good nights sleep and had a very good breakfast cooked for...

I was allocated a room, with 2 single beds, and an ensuite. The whole room was not very clean marks on the carpet and the bathroom had very dirty corners to the whole room, and the sides of the bath and shower screen, The bathmat smelt dreadful, and overwhelming. The room was crowded, and bed linen although clean was very...

This is a great place to stay for £35 a night with breakfast per person. Yes, the place is a little dated in places but that is the only criticism. We had a warm welcome with a nice breakfast the following morning. The reviews I've read here are not my experience of The Meadow House which could ruin someones business.

This b&b states that it is a dog friendly accommodation and yet I was told not to let my dog on the grass as the owners have grandchildren! So basically my dog can walk on your stoned driveway then??? At breakfast this morning I was only given 1 sausage, 2 rashers of bacon and 2 eggs (not really a full...

I'm a contractor and I found the place clean and more than accommodating. Beds comfy and clean can't complain. Plenty of off road parking and within walking distance off all amenities. Well pleased to find this little gem. Thanks Mrs Marsh for being such a great help.

We hope the owners take note of the following to improve the experience for future guests. Upon arriving, from the outside the B&B looks inviting enough. First impression when entering was one of clutter and entering someone's home - it was a bit confusing. We went up to our room and to be honest it felt like a time warp...

Hilary's Cottage is well positioned in the pretty and well kept village of Swaffham Prior. Local walks are well signposted and maintained and the village itself has two churches and to windmills. The cottage is spacious, sleeps six people comfortably and is very well equipped. It is charming and has character and as such is not immaculate but is well...

“Room 2 can take up to six people (two double beds, two single beds), in two adjoined rooms sharing a bathroom. VERY good for a family with more than two children. Or even more than one. Or even just one if you want to put the child to bed then sit and do something else (TV?).”
