We visited De Barra Lodge in September 2013 with a young baby and 2 yr old in tow. Sinead and her "clan" could not have been more welcoming. The B&B itself is maintained to a seriously high standard, rooms are extremely bright and spacious with a lovely relaxing atmosphere to the place. Our room was straight down the corridor from...

I stayed here with a friend over New Years. The owners couldnt have been more hospitable or friendly. The accomodation was superb as was the breakfast the following day...akin to a 5 star hotel. Will definetly recommend to friends. Thanks for everything! Craig & Paul

We stayed here two nights in November 2013 while touring around Ireland on a short visit. WE wanted to stay somewhere near the shore in West Cork but not in Kinsale as we just stayed there a few weeks ago and wanted to try a new area. DeBarra Lodge is a little outside of town, but since Rosscarberry town is...

Didn't stay here for very long as we attended a wedding in Rosscarbery until the early hours of the morning but the time my wife and myself were here it was a very pleasent stay. The owners couldn't do enough for us, including dropping us back to our car at the wedding venue the following morning. They didn't have to...

Beautiful modern house in the countryside. We had a very spacious upstairs corner room that overlooked the fields in two directions. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. We had called ahead because we were late but Sinead welcomed us warmly upon arrival with tea and cake. Breakfast was very good and the sandy beach and ocean is only a 5 minute...

We stayed in deBarra lodges last weekend and to say we came upon a gem in West Cork is an understatement. From the time I rang enquiring about in to the moment we left, Sinead couldn't have done more for us. Nothing at all was too much trouble-even dropping us in to Ross so as our car would be at...

Excellent accomodation and such friendly hosts who couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending to others and look forward to another chance to return. Sinead and Dan knew all the best sights and all the local events which were available during our stay.

We stayed two nights at deBarra Lodge whilst visiting family in Rosscarbery earlier this month (Sept 2012). The rooms were fantastic (clean, modern and tastefully decorated), the breakfast was excellent (my father still keeps talking about Sinead's delicious freshly baked scones), and the family was delightful as hosts. We mentioned to our relatives that they should definitely have future visitors...

Quite simply the very best B&B we have ever stayed in. Sinead and Dan were the perfect hosts and provided a lovely place to stay. The tea and cake in the sitting room to welcome us after our journey to Rosscarberry was most welcome and typified the warmth of the welcome and high levels of attention to detail. Our room...
