Stayed three nights in early October. Sinéad was a wonderful host and served an amazing breakfast. Poached fruit, scones or muffins, and yogurt were waiting for us in the breakfast room every morning. Sinéad will make your breakfast to order. I had the full Irish breakfast each day with a perfectly poached fresh egg. The rooms are clean and quiet....

We spent one night at De Barra on our journey along the Wild Atlantic Way. The accommodation was of a high standard and the hosts Sinead and Dan were lovely. They went out of their way to help us with a car problem we had saving us much time and bother. Highly recommended.

Had the most relaxing time with my fiance at De Barra over a lovely long weekend. The B&B was absolutely beautiful and we were made so welcome it felt like a home from home. We had fabulous views on two sides of the house from our windows. There was a...

One we had NO email or text conformation of our booking & our email address was not requested at the time of our telephone booking. The owner SInead booked us in for an extra night in error after discussing a few...

Stayed at DeBarra lodge over the August bank holiday for a wedding in Clonakilty. Couldn't recommend it enough. Our room was lovely and comfortable with spectacular views of the green hilly countryside. Breakfast was yummy and if the weather had been warmer would of had the option to eat outside. We were less than 20mins from Clonakilty where we had...

Sinead was a very welcoming and helpful host with lots of suggestions on what to do in the area. She also booked us into Pilgims, an excellent restaurant in the village and Dan's suggestion of visiting the coast at Glandore was a masterstroke. Excellent breakfasts, lovely rooms and good company. Close to Rosscarbery. What more could you wish for?

We stayed one night at deBarra Lodge before embarking on the Wild Atlantic Way by motorcycle. The Lodge was just what we needed, a fantastic spotless room, and welcoming hosts that provide a breakfast spread that will keep you smiling for hours afterwards.

Sinead was a fantastic host. Welcoming me and my girlfriend in when another nearby b+b was fully booked. She was very understanding and accommodating. The room was spacious and pristine with Windows looking out onto a picturesque Irish hill side. The location is excellent, while still being close to town and feeling secluded on the countryside along a little country...
