Lovely friendly staff, beautiful setting, but most 3 Star hotels have pub grub, here I had an amazing lamb 'falling of the bone' shank!!! Looking at the menu & mor importantly the dishes coming out definitely a chef/kitchen that take great pride in their food!! Happy Christmas to all staff!!

Stayed here on a D.B & B rate. A nice friendly hotel. Super rate for package. Staff appear to be very well trained. Food very good with excellent gluten free options. Yes, would recommend this hotel especially for winter breaks.

Many thanks for the kind words. The Winter offer that we have put out there has gone down a storm:-) We have put a major emphasis on training this year and it is beginning to really pay dividends. The team in the kitchen do really well with catering for dietary requirements. All of our sauces are gluten free and we...

I stayed in thus hotel on Friday 27th November for one night with my friend who is a wheel chair user. The room we were allocated was completely accessible. We had a beautiful dinner and breakfast, I would also have to compliment the staff who were all very friendly and professional, we will definitely return and hopefully stay longer.

Some people may complain that it is dated, however for me it felt traditional. Bed and room were huge, staff really friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. Food was generally excellent. My travelling companion has unusual food allergies, they went out of their way to accommodate I cannot rate them enough, and defiantly would love to...

We had a great stay here. (October 2014 but I've left it late to review!) Some of the rooms were being renovated when we arrived so we were allocated a room under renovation by accident but we weren't put out as the staff were quick on the mark. There is a lovely vibe in the hotel. From the moment you...
