This is a lovely hotel and the owners Lieke and Michiel are such nice people and they did everything and more to make our stay great and comfortable. They were so good with the kids as were all the staff. Lieke and her team dish up some brilliant food and were so flexible with our two young girls (9 and...

My wife, son and I were invited to dinner at Mundo Milo last month and the experience was perfect. They have a lovely hotel, nestled into the forest, the owners are excellent, warm hosts and the food was delicious. I had a shrimp and fish plate with a cream-tomato sauce that was on special that night; it was wonderful.

We highly recommend making a stop at Mundo Milo's restaurant if you are in the Junquillal, Guanacaste area. The menu is has a great selection for all types of tastes and diets. Every time we visit, we try something different. The pasta with shrimp was an excellent combination of spices to compliment and not over power the tender shrimp. The...

Such a tranquil spot to relax with proximity to the beach nearby. Owners Michiel and Lieke were fantastic hosts and extremely generous. In addition, the food was fantastic in the restaurant. Highly recommended.

As my wife and I drove down the secluded dusty dirt road, on to our next destination, my mind was focused on how soon we could get back to Mundo Milo...Its that kind of place... If you are looking for corporate hotels, swim up pool bars etc..., this aint that! But if you are looking for a completely unique experience,...

We were very lucky to find and stay at Mundo Milo and made very welcome by our hosts. We arrived unannounced (July) but luckily there was space available. The proximity to the beach is ideal, the pool perfect, lots of amazing wildlife in the gardens and the food was the best we've eaten in Costa Rica! The service was attentive...

This boutique hotel is amazing! The owners (Lieke and Michael) are amazing people that love taking care of their guests and getting to know them. Whether you eat only breakfast there or every meal, you will love the food. I would say the cooking is in the "fusion" category and tastes wonderful for every bite. Everyone that works there is...

My husband and I have been traveling to Costa Rica for 20 years and had never been farther south than Tamarindo . I surprised my husband for his 60th Birthday and I choose Mundo Milo. It was the best choice that I could have made. Lieke and Michiel the owners are so gracious. The day after our arrival, she had...

This is not a place you run down the checklist and decide on the stars. Some folks may give the lodge 3 stars and others could give it five. If you're looking for something different and enjoy the hospitality of a place more than the thread-count of the sheets or a stunning view; if you want to talk to a...

This place is located relatively far away from main touristy places. Far in the west/pacific side in Playa Junquillal. I rented a car from LIR (definitely recommended). You need a vehicle to get around. Closest towns are Tamarindo (about an hour away - touristy) or Santa Cruz (smaller, not as popular - really not much here). Anyway, this lodge is...
