We always stay at Sandhills when ever we go to Keswick and have done so for the past couple of years. A lovely pot of coffee and home made cake on arrival, beautiful clean rooms and a hearty cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. I can't praise this B & B enough. Although you will be staying on a working...

The breakfasts are tasty with a great choice of cereals and fruit juices, fresh fruit and yoghurts, to start with and the full cooked breakfasts give...

Our second visit to Sandhills and we will be going back again next year. Helen is a great host with a fountain of knowledge of the local area. Tea and homemade cakes are served on arrival and home baked cookies left in the room every day - a nice touch. Breakfast is excellent and rooms are good sized. Highly recommended.

Helen was welcoming and always had a ready smile at breakfast. With only 3 rooms available, there's a homely feel. Every morning as we were leaving, I could see Helen with her cleaning stuff ready to attend to the rooms so everything was fresh when we got back in the evening. When you arrive on this huge working farm there's...
