Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A good winter night sleep. Stayed for a night. Clean, comfortable bed and all essentials with a complementary treat. Air conditioning worked quite even though we turned it off as the temperature inside was perfect. Bathroom clean. TV fridge,

We were initially hesitant about booking this hotel (for 14th June, 2022) after reading some previous negative reviews all written at the same time "4 months ago". Also very similar wording and from what appears to be people of the same ethnicity. Coincidental? We were glad we decided to book as we were pleasantly surprised. Hotel reception was polite, friendly and helpful from the moment we rang to make the booking to the moment we were handed the keys at check in. It was a cold winter's night and we found the room cosy, clean, large and comfortable. The tariff was most reasonable and we felt we had value for money. Little additional touches were the breakfast pack, free bottled water and complimentary alcoholic beverage each were appreciated..

The rooms are set back a long way from the road so traffic noise wasn't an issue. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the 10% discount for guests at the bistro was a welcome surprise. A five minute walk to the train station. I consider this place to be great value for suburban Melbourne accommodation.

Mould in the bathrooms Television is unworkable and has no channel with good reception The hours of reception are too limited and if leaving before 9am to check out, you MUST tell them the say before No tissues Some power points do not work Carpark covered in broken glass Extremely noisy cleaners using a pressure washer and generator at 6:35am that was impossible to sleep through Reception 9am-10pm only - 1 hour window to check out - as have to be out by 10am Cleaners have no idea how to clean - filthy floors, benches, showers etc Reception is hard to find On the positive - free water bottles daily Very comfortable beds Location convenient to both Chadstone, Holmesglen and Monash Would never stay again - should be demolished or advertised as a 1 star

Perfect location for my short business trip. Affordable with the basic amenities that I needed. Comfy place, clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The Night Cap hotels mostly have their own pub style casual restaurants so you don't need to worry about food. Gave me vouchers for drink as well! Will certainly consider returning to this hotel if I get the chance.

Booked an overnight stay last month when I had to pick my daughter up from the airport at an awful hour of the night. Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Ample parking, a place to eat on site if needed, which looked to be very popular. The room was very light and welcoming. Very clean and tidy. The in room breakfast was very welcome. Considering we were off a very busy main road, it was very quiet in the room. The bed quality was amazing, allowing us a few hours of good sleep, once we got back to the room. Would definitely stay here again. Room rate was very reasonable also.

In town on business my manager always stays here. It is better than average in all areas of accommodation & he can get a good meal in the evening at a reasonable price. He also likes it being located within easy access to the freeway for travel to suburbs, city or back to the airport.

Last minute trip to go the Chadstone Shopping Centre. Room was great for what we needed, clean, spacious and with WiFi. Bed was comfortable, breakfast box was good and close to a McDonalds for a quick coffee. Some traffic noise but did not affect our sleep at all. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We needed a cheap n cheerful place to sleep for one night in the Chadstone area. This place fit the bill perfectly. Although it's on the same ground as a licensed venue, it was less noisy than we thought. It's super easy to find, the bed is really comfy and the bathroom was nice n clean. If we need to stay overnight again in this part of Melbourne, we'd come back here. Btw, the brekky packs are pretty good too.

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It had what we needed. We stayed two nights. However, it is noisy at times but the majority of the time it was fine. Service and meals were really good.
