Come here a few times a year, normally weekday evenings for the carvery which is normally pretty good as is the service. Starting to creep up in price was £5.99 and now £6.29 during the week. The 3 meats, beef, gammon and turkey are always tender and moist and the veg are not soggy and overcooked.

Went for a carvery with friends, we all had the carvery although there is a good selection of other meals at good prices, the carvery gives 3 choices and a decent amount of meats - some people had all 3 , excellent choice of veg, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing balls, potatoes, and sauces, all topped off with good gravy. After all...

This is a fantastic hotel, the staff can not be more friendly or helpful. I stayed with my friend the night before her wedding. I also hold my monthly ladies club meetings at this venue. Would totally recommend this hotel for a stay in Dorset.

Stayed here for one night at the beginning of April before flying out from BOH Airport. Really recommend as a short stay or for stop over, as very close to the airport and brilliant value. We had booked for two adults and two children, however, when we arrived we only had three beds. Staff very helpfully put up the fourth...

I came in for a dinner with a couple of friends and had a great time, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff very friendly. The food is lovely, we had three dishes off the menu which all came in good time and one of my friends had a carvery which was lovely. The view and surrounding area is lovely...

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends nearby. There is ample parking which is also gated to keep your vehicle safe. We found staff to be friendly and accommodating. Receptionist was very helpful and the bar staff were really friendly. We happily sat at the bar in the evening chatting to the bar staff. Grounds are lovely with...

Stayed the night before a training day. Arrived after midnight. Met very friendly night receptionist. Very nice, comfortable bed. Shower very strong water flow which you don't always get, but you couldn't adjust the shower head direction just the height. Breakfast was very nice, quality food. Very nice lounge area & conference room. Hotel very clean in appearance.

Stayed here for a few nights with work. Rooms are nice and clean however on the small side. My room was on the main road and I found the hotel very warm but when I opened my window it was noisy due to the traffic. The bathroom light when switched on activates the fan which is quite load and takes...

Thank you for your review. The smaller rooms on the roadside are our budget rooms. We have lots of larger rooms and riverside rooms but these are slightly more expensive. We will look at the fan in the bathroom and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We visit this hotel each year and never disappointed. Our only negative is that we find the beds too soft..sleep isn't easy..!! This probably means that our beds at home are much firmer!! Food very good.
