Spent 4 nights here and were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was excellent and the gardens are lovely, being hidden nicely from the road. A short walk to restaurants and the harbour this is an great choice for visiting Havelock and surrounding area.

One night here. Clean and comfortable room in a lovely peaceful corner of central Haverlock. Friendly UK managers. Next door to Mussel Pot and handy for supermarket across the road. Would stay here again.

So pleased to hear that you would consider staying with us again Gill. It is certainly a plus, from both our perspective and our guests, to own such a uniquely situated motel. Although it is a benefit to be positioned on the main artery from Picton to Nelson we are in a hillside enclave surrounded by trees, all of which... More

The gardens are amazing. Rooms set back from the road so very quiet. Standard rooms that are perfectly adequate and not dated at all. Warm, comfy beds, good showers. Cheap soaps but it's not 5 star! Hair dryers etc and good lighting. I would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed my short stay here. In a lovely peaceful setting amongst manicured gardens. Staff were lovely. Room was spacious and warm, a bonus in the middle of winter! Heat pump and an electric blanket. Few cute geese roaming around as well.

My apologies Octomoo for having letting your review slip passed me. Thank you for your kind comments. Spent a night either end of a kayaking trip in the Sounds. Welcoming hosts and a very comfortable nights stay. Set back from the road so peaceful but within easy walking distance of shops/restaurants. Good value and would definitely stay here again.

Liked the peaceful garden setting, and the sound of the water in the creek. A very friendly owner. Clean and comfortable room, a tiled shower with lovely water pressure. Could not ask for more.Conveniently next to the Musselpot and the bakery ( very good eggs benedict).

Lovely garden setting, peaceful yet right in the centre of town. Managers are helpful and pleasant. Best shower of our trip! Not those awful water saving nozzles. Units were spotless and comfortable. Would have rated a five but beds are small and couch needs replacing, very saggy. You need to book here it is busy
