This has just got to be one of the top Farmhouse Bed and Breakfasts in the country. We stayed here while visiting family for 3 nights. Clean, very well appointed accommodation and a fantastic breakfast. There is a delicious buffet display, pancakes, croissants, various fruits, yogurts etc etc and that's before you start on the variety of cooked food. Lovely home baking in our room daily, shortbread, fruit cakes and lemon drizzle Yummy. Very near to Dunotter Castle which is a must see in the area. Michelle and David are great hosts and go the extra mile to make sure that their guests are comfortable.

I took my daughter to stay here recently as we were going to see my son's first gig with his new band in nearby Catterline, about three miles away. On hearing this, David got us a lift to the venue (free of charge) and then joined us later!
The rooms were very clean and well appointed as well as being reasonably priced, and the comprehensive breakfast menu was the sort of thing you might expect to find in a larger more expensive hotel, with locally sourced bacon and eggs.
We had a great time in idyllic surroundings with wonderful friendly hosts and will probably be back next year!

Had a super overnight stay here whilst visiting friends . The room was absolutely spotless with all amenities required .
Breakfast Wow, everything freshly home made and locally produced . Hosts David and Michelle couldn’t do enough for us . Very relaxing in a beautiful peaceful setting . Highly recommend a stay here if in the area . Home made tablet was the best I have tasted as were the home made chocolates , pancakes and breads .
Very reasonably priced .

The location is peaceful and quiet. A few miles from Catterline. (See photos). I was greeted at the door by Michelle., who showed me my en-suite room, which was beautiful, in which everything had a luxurious quality. There was a walk-in wardrobe / dressing room, with a full-length mirror. A spacious bathroom with a fabulous shower, (which was easy to use and with a steady temperature / strong steady flow of water). It was like walking into a luxury hotel room. No detail was overlooked. Tea / coffee - making facilities were perfect. Real milk was in a little silver flask. A bottle of water with glasses was provided too. Michelle bakes and each day there was a new treat to have with the tea! Everything was spotless and gorgeous to look at. Breakfast was first class, in a lovely dining room with a view. Food was locally sourced where possible. We guests were treated like family, and the food, as well as the atmosphere was top notch! I cannot recommend this B&B enough. Michelle and David made us feel totally at home. I know I'll be back again.

Although being a little off the beaten track ( Between A90 & A92 ) Chapel of Barras is a little gem. David & Michelle make you feel very welcome & offer lots of advice on the local area. The bungalow was spotlessly clean & the room I occupied for a couple of nights was large & a first class bathroom. Also, very, very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent.
I would definitely recommend a stay here & would return.
