This place is disgusting and dirty, room basic but not clean,...,cleaners came in every 2 days but only made bed,and changed towels, no sweeping floors or patio , no wiping anything !!! advertised as 5 star ? stayed in cleaner 2 star, food was same everyday, morning ,lunch and dinner, always cold and covered in flies. drinks watered down even soft drinks,..pool edges covered in green and black mold, water murky ...had to eat out everyday and use another hotels pool and facilities. WORST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN IN GREECE..
Quite new hotel but very visibly used. Good location, modern and comfortable rooms. Clean and simple. Although, I would never give it 4* ! All Inclusive option is an absolute waste of your money. Quality of food and drinks is worst than bad. Meals were monotonous, repetitive and, what's worse, processed from breakfast to dinner. There was no information about what is served, which I think causes food to be wasted. The coffee machine was notoriously broken, instead of juices there were some cheap carbonated drinks, often not enough cutlery during dinner. The bar and drinks itself are a separate nightmare. The cheapest alcohol with very low quality, just nasty. When we asked for a bottle of soda water in the room, it turned out that we can only receive mineral water. The worst surprise - they played polish music by the pool bar - annoying, tiring and really bad songs. It does not get any better when it comes to service. Hotel staff distanced and tired. They know English at a basic level. Check in was just hilarious. The receptionists could not explain the way to our room, they barely looked at us, did not give any information about the hotel. They were passive and sluggish. Lack of monitoring is a huge downside. Anyone can enter the hotel at any time not noticed. In the middle of the night you can call the Reception, stand in the lobby and wait, and wait, and wait - nobody will disturb you since noone is there. This hotel is good if you want to go out as much as possible during your vacation. I gave it 3* only because it has a potential to be better.
We booked this hotel for a week from 18th of July and it was their first week. We thought that since they applied for 5 starts they will try to do everything they can to gain good reviews and to make first guests happy. We were wrong...
Only part of the hotel was open when we arrived, last building from the reception was still not finished inside (it was easy to see from the pool). Our room was ok, it was clean and new, and we did not have problems with it except very poor Wifi (only on balcony and not always). I asked about Wifi several times at reception, and every time I got an answer "we are so sorry, we will call our technician and he will fix it". It was easy to see that they tried to finish hotel rooms fast, so a lot of things were not made precisely. (example: there was a pipe under our sink which was not attached to the wall, I moved it by accident by the chair and all the water pour on the floor - but it was easy to fix ;) ). I know other people had more serious problems with their rooms (leaking shower as example)
Pool was nice, but the ground was sharp in some places, I hurt my feet several times.
Service in restaurant was poor, bad english (except one guy with glasses, dark hair who was excellent - always with a smile, and it was really nice to talk to him, great service from him), they never brought me sparkling water with lemon, no ice, always something was wrong! Or we were waiting 10minutes for clean table because they were so disorganized.
Food was bad, poor choice, never hot, only warm. Not a lot of seafood or fish. Variety was poor, pasta was ALWAYS overcooked. Desserts were changing during a meal so if you were first or last you could get better desert - you never know! I don't know why they couldn't change it daily... Food was the worst from all things.
Overall I liked it because when we were there were not so many people and it was calm, we had pool almost to ourselves (someone was always on the beach or trip so it was really calm). We also didn't pay for it as for 5* hotel, it was the same price as 3* hotels in the area, so for us it was ok. Our room was also ok, brand new - which was nice.
Beach in Tsivili is perfect and it's not so far away.
Oh, and both barmen were great! Nice to talk to and made really nice drinks and frozen coffee :)
Firstly, we didn't pay a great deal for this all inclusive resort. It's a brand new hotel located a short walk from the town centre.
The rooms are modern and well equipped but basic finish. This is repeated throughout the hotel. It has 2 very good size pools, in fact they're huge. The whole hotel is very clean. Contrary to other reviews, towels were changed when left on the floor as per the signage.
Food was similar to the over all feel, nice but nothing special. Mostly Greek dishes. My only criticism is supply of the buffet, arrive too late and you get lukewarm scraps. Staff although friendly weren't too proficient at keeping it topped up. The bar has beer on tap, that's it. Mixers are from cheap bottles so don't expect too much fizz. However for the price we paid, all inclusive food and drink was a bonus so overall we weren't unimpressed by the offering.
Overall we had no complaints. For the budget conscious traveller this is a clean and modern all inclusive resort a very short walk to the beaches and bars.
We were a bit dubious with the hotel being only 4 weeks old but we enjoyed our stay for a week. Food and drink excellent - mostly Greek cuisine and not a chip in sight thankfully - lots of fresh fruit and salads. The bar and restaurant laid out well with open doors either end giving it an outdoor feel with a lovely breeze blowing through it. Room layout was modern and unusual with a big comfortable king size bed and a very powerful shower and a corner bath. The only downside for us was the pool area which was very overlooked and the water was a very uninviting green colour. However there is a lovely long sandy beach only a 10 minute walk away and it's only a 5 minute walk to the town.
