Stayed in this hotel for 1 night in a double room as a stop over in Gallipoli after visiting the ANZAC sites. The spacious double room was clean and contained all the basic amenities required.
The hotel offered free parking. The breakfast was very good and contained several sweet and savoury options. In terms of location is also well placed between Gallipoli and Kabatepe ferry terminal, should you be visiting the wonderful Gökçeada island.
Beware as there are a number of hotels with similar names and this is not the one across from the ferry. It is a family hotel with very helpful and welcoming staff. Nothing was too much bother. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There was also no smoke smell which we have found rare in Turkey. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
The Gelibolu Hotel fully met our needs when we cycled into town. Management was very friendly and did all they could to meet our needs. Being a little out of the centre of town, management arranged for someone to guide us to the hotel. The cost was very reasonable and a place to store our bicycles inside the hotel was found because of our fears for security. The room was excellent, beds were comfortable and bathrooms of a good standard. Breakfast was healthy and met the needs of very hungry cyclists. At all times management and staff were willing to engage in conversation. Many laughs were shared, making it a very pleasant stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
