Choosing a guest house in Rasdhoo for us appeared to be a problem as we have a pet (a 2y.o. Cat), so we looked for one with flexible policies on bringing animals with you. Once we contacted Relax inn they mentioned that they love pets and even own some as well. So we were happy to go ahead with the booking. The room was spacious and nice, few small details not operating well, but it was all worth of the trip and the whole island vibe too. Super nice owner, who is always ready to help you and even comes to work being sick (not sanitary you might think, but damn well shows her dedication to it). As well, breakfast was very flexible with timings and waited for us to come from diving, which was amazing and you should surely try it!!!! Lots of cats on the island and it’s very friendly vibe there, so we loved the place, the people and the diving obviously!!! Rashdoo, we will be back and if we get a free room, then we will be back with our cat to visit Relax inn once again!!!
Both Rasdhoo island and Guest House Rasdhoo Relax Inn are appeared to be a really great way to get acquainted with the Maldives. In any case, that was exactly the way I started my acquaintance with the Maldives. Unconditional advantages of Rasdhoo Relax Inn are hospitable hosts (they met my family on the pier on our arrival from the airport, saw us off when we went to another island, all our problems were solved quickly and efficiently); great location (5-7 minutes are taken to reach Bikini Beach); an opportunity to choose any "activity" from the hole set of well-known Maldivian amusements by an average price. I do not have seriously bad remarks about hotel rooms (I booked "Deluxe Triple Room"): it is rather incommodious for three people but, anyway, it is possible to live in. I cannot call the room luxurious as it is better to be called frugal. However, it responds all tourists’ needs. I also have no complains about the food (breakfasts are included in the price of the room; we also had dinners which are necessary to be pre-odered). The food and the prices are standard for the Maldives (however, I did not find beef or lamp on the menu… As well as champagne but it is pretty obvious). Bikini Beach is an excellent as a beach but not as place for swimming. It is necessary to cross 50-70 meters to reach the reef. More than that, the water is really shallow so it is practically impossible to swim. Nevertheless, the beach is a quite good place for snorkeling: the flow is from left to right and it is comfortable to follow it looking at fishes and other ocean inhabitants. But, of course, it is necessary to avoid corals in order not to injure various important parts of the body. The village, as well as the island itself, is tiny but it comprises mosque, several shops, and some restaurants. As for souvenir shops, we preferred to buy souvenirs and other small items in a souvenir shop owned by Rasdhoo Relax Inn, located a few steps from Guest House, having primarily evaluated the proposed discounts. I have forgotten the name of the shop but Rasdhoo Relax Inn will prompt, definitely. Summary is the following: I liked Guest House Rasdhoo Relax Inn.
I have nothing to find fault with, although I have no intention to do it. As a wish, it would be convenient for the hotel to provide more accurate information about the transfer from the airport including the name of the boat and the exact time of its departure. We were late for Maldives Transfer’s boat which was supposed to be sent to Rasdhoo from the airport at 10AM but successfully got on the boat called "Coral Speed" with its departure from the airport at 11AM. In fact, we accidentally learned about its existence at the airport information point. Finally, we did not understand was it Maldives Transfer’s delayed boat or some other one which we were lucky to catch and not to wait for the next Maldives Transfer’s boat until 16AM...
A nice place with a very tasty breakfast. It has a rooftop terrace for hanging out, but you can't see the sea from there. Room was spacious and there was a safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed for one night.
