I made a reservation at the Misket Hotel. The next day I received a what’s app message from the hotel manager asking me to call him. I called, he proceeded to tell me that they had no room for me. He told me Not to come because the room I booked was double booked. If I paid 80.00 more a night the room would be mine. If not the room would go to someone else. I booked through Expedia and immediately called them. They confirmed what he said and told me not to go because there was no room for me even if I was willing to pay more they in fact gave my room away. This is extortion. I even told the manager that I paid 300 per person just to fly there. He didn’t care. I hope Expedia takes it off of their sight! I spent 2 hours the next day trying to find a room. This is completely shameful!

We were ‘in’ for 4 days in the wonderful world of Misket Hotel. Nice people, charming room, typical breakfast. But the most important : sun, water and silence. When you are in need of some quality & me time, don't hesitate. Book a few days in the Misket Hotel. Thanks for these 4 beautiful days.

This is the most beautiful, peaceful and well designed hotel we have ever visited.
We arrived at the Bodrum airport late at night where a taxi driver with our name was waiting for us. After a 1 1/2 hours ride we arrived at the hotel where Ümit, the floor manager, was waiting for us. It was 23.00 local time but nevertheless he prepared a meal for us.
He showed us our room. Everything so relaxed. At that moment ofcourse we did see that the hotel was ok, very goodlooking, luxury, but the next morning when we opened the door to our terrace, the beauty of what we saw made us silent.

We had a view over both the sea as the pool.
I walked around a bit and I can tell you, every single detail of this hotel is thought about. And than the flowers and the plants, actually I dont think words can describe the beauty of this hotel.

The breakfast was excellent. Again all those tiny details. Every morning, there is a different specialty of the house. Superb! A.nd ofcourse there is Boncuk, the hotelcat!

And then the staff. It is like they know you want something before you yourself even knew that you where going to want it! When you leave you say goodbye to friends. Türgay Özdogan, the owner of the hotel has one major goal in his life: to give his guests an unforgettable holiday.

You can stay at the hotel, rest at the pool. Or at the beach of the hotel if you prefer silence. But you can also take a bus (Dolmus) to visit all the other beautiful places/beaches of the Bodrum peninsula. Ofcourse Gümüslük itself, with its Ibiza vibe, but also Yalikavak, Gündogan, Göltürkbükü and Turgutreis are all definitely worth visiting. The Dolmus stops at a 5 minute walk of the hotel.

Am I forgetting something? Probably. Its very very clean, beds are good, the rooms itself are not too big but everything you need is there, and then again, you live outside.
I think the best thing you can do is just book this hotel and proove I was wrong 😉.
