The resort used to be one of our favorite camping resorts. Unfortunately loud music and noisy people at the pool bar during the weekend did not go down well. We don't mind music at the pool and the entertainment with it, but sometimes it get too much.
The bush camp area is very dusty. No grass available.
The food at the take away next to the pool very tasty. The indoor heated pool is very nice in winter.

Amazing place, beautiful wild life. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean ablution blocks. Lovely camping site as well as chalets/houses at a very good price. Will definitely recommend Mbuzi game lodge. Hot and cold swimming pools, kids playing area, Spa facilities, restaurant, Tuck shop stocks, beverages, snacks, kids toys, bread, drinks, ice cream ect, and so much more.

So relaxing, and a very pleasant stay.

We had a good stay at Mbizi and the kids really enjoyed it. The resort was quite quiet but maybe because we visited in the middle of winter. There was a great shop that stocked absolutely everything so if you forgot something at home you could easily get it there. There is no card facilities which I think is a little silly. In 2019 nobody uses cash any longer so its a bit backwards that cards are not accepted as a form of payment. This needs to change.

The pool looked great and I am sure it is a hit in the summer months. The pool bar was under construction when we were there and it also looks like it has a lot of potential.

After reading trip advisor reviews I was nervous for our security as I see the security on the mountain units has not been improved since the break ins reported on trip advisor. I expected double locks and security gates and burglar bars, etc but nothing was in place as indicated to me on the phone prior. There is no safe in the rooms and still evidence of door tampering in unit 7. We are lucky we were not victim to a security incident as I do not feel those units are secure enough yet.

The unit and beds were comfy and with the fireplace going it was definitely warm enough. We had a fantastic view! I did suggest that lounge needs a coffee table and side tables.

Thanks until next time.

Beautiful place. So much to do. Only issue was our chalet had no hot water and in winter that was awful.

But overall great place. Def would go again. Awesome wild life walking around. Loved the hot pool in winter thats a huge sell. Also the bar in pool is super cool.

We stayed over for a weekend in the two bedroom chalet, nothing special. Very tiny little room with a fridge that didn't go cold and a snappy chef that did the job. For the price I paid I would not do it again. the outside pool seem small for all the visitors and the place was not even full. Not the place I expected from some rave reviews.
