From the moment of check in we were greeted and made to feel very welcomed. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with plenty of room and constantly replenished.
The room had a pungent odor that was later discovered coming from the garbage disposal. However as sticky and dirty as the carpets were, the smell could have been coming from there also. The kitchen floor was smeared with food and very sticky. The microwave and cabinets were smudged with fingerprints the stove was greasy and the oven was filthy. The cushions on the sofa were covered in something that looked like ketchup. Fortunately the beds and the bathrooms were decently cleaned. The breakfast omelettes were falsely advertised as being available on the weekends, because they were not. Make sure to arrive early for the buffet, as food will run out prior to designated closing time. Don't expect the bar at this hotel to look like what is advertised on the internet.
Overall - excellent value for the money. Nice room, well-appointed, plenty of amenities. Housekeeping and breakfast staff A++! Bed too firm, a bit uncomfortable. Broken glass at side entrance near car reported, yet was unaddressed 1 hour later.
Our room was clean but not new. It had a musty smell to the room. The kitchen area had everything needed for extended stay. The hotel lobby is dated and needs a lift. Same with the hallways and rugs. The location is a short Uber ride to downtown Morristown.
I was surprised with the generous room layout and spaciousness. The room was more luxurious than expected. Breakfast was well organized and there were plenty of options to choose from. I would not hesitate to choose this location again for next year's conference.
