Not isolated although well outside of Soave, this house is located in the middle of the wineyards of Classico grapes. It offers a great place for families, children have room to play and have fun without being afraid of any troubles. Also, this is a wonderful place to write a book or to start bike tours. La Corte is an always proper and well maintained place, modern style and very nice rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast is a good slection for a small house and sufficient for the start of a day. Within 5km range, a good selection of enotecas or osterias for lunch and dinner. Osteria LaScala at the SouthernGate of Soave (intra muros) or if you want to spent some more minutes by car, then try "il Buulo" in Lavagno. Olive oil and products e.g. in Cazzano (Contri) only 5 minutes down the hill.

The B&B is housed in a couple of buildings that are adjoined. There are about 5 rooms and 4 appartements. This makes it quite small.

When we arrived late we were directly shown to our room. A large room, with a large bathroom. The rooms are air-conditioned and a very quite air-conditioning as well. The reception of the owner was very friendly. The room contained two complimentary bottles of water. The rooms are very clean, and stylishly decorated. In all the complete B&B looks very nice. A lot of attention has been given to the decoration. Also the surroundings are well kept, with a beautiful garden.

The breakfast every morning has french bread, with a selection of fruits, jams, cheese, salami. Eggs are made at request. After breakfast you can take your coffee with you and enjoy it on the summerlounge.

The pool is quite large, with plenty of deckchairs to sit. However, to lie down completely you need different chairs, and if the b&b is full, you have to be early to get one of those.

On our last afternoon, we stayed two nights, we got a complementary glass of wine from the region. A nice sparkling wine.

In generally: this is definitely a place I can recommend. We understood that if you want to book one of the departments you have to book almost a year in advance, but it is absolutely worth it.

My wife and I along with my sister in law and her husband spend three nights here during a 17 day trip in Italy. We each had a room in the B&B portion. Soave was our stop after spending several days in Rome and Venice. We all just loved this place. It has only been open a little over a year since a renovation so it has all the expected modern conveniences. The rooms are nice sized and very clean; same for the bathrooms. The owners are just the nicest people in the world, although they speak almost no English; their son speaks good English but he is not around much as he works in one of the nearby towns. They would bring us wine and snacks from time to time and the breakfasts were out of this world. The scenery is just breathtaking and after the hustle and bustle of Rome and Venice it was perfect. We used it as a center to explore Padua, Vicenza area, and Verona, but if you are looking for some quiet down time you could just stay on property and enjoy the pool, visit other small nearby towns, or hike the surrounding hillsides that are all covered with vinyards. It was a bit hard to find- I suggest getting step by step directions if you are driving. The internet was slow, but you should be outside admiring the countryside not surfing the net here!
