Most popular question about the pool
We have booked for June. Are any of the pools heated or will we just be admiring them from afar?

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere when driving out you would seriously think you are getting taken on a while goose chase but once you arrive it is beautiful with a antique country finish
It is very beautiful and offers quiet a lot which is nice as there isn't anything near to do so if you want to go somewhere and do pretty much nothing and relax this is it!
We stayed in the heritage room no#9
It had a lovely big king bed very comfortable large spa bath, open fire and a sitting room with a nice little balcony looking over one of the pools !
The room it self was antique finished off with a country style being winter and a very cold night it would have been amazing if our fire place was lit for us I would have done it my self but had no clue where the fire wood was kept untill we were about to check out !
Being a 5 star resort I just couldn't call it five star it's more a heritage B&B
The food was amazing but the menu could have offered more and sides ect but it was a very small set menu for breakfast lunch and dinner !
We only paid $290 for the night as we were with a wedding but called them once we got home to see how much it was per night thinking we would send our parents there as a gift and the room we stayed in was $450 per night min of x2 nighty stay
I can say at that price it is 100% not worth it at all considering its cheeper to stay at Versace was a little disappointing knowing how expensive it was
But all in all the wedding was absolutely beautiful they bent over backwards and did everything possible for the bride and groom with the most stunning back drop

went to a wedding and stayed only one nght :( , the property is beautiful and just like its name secluded in a hidden valley.
We stayed in a 4 bedroom cottage which was well appointed and had a verandah with views for miles.
An ideal getaway for that romantic weekend or for people wishing to explore the Brisbane Valley.....the attention to detail was exceptional with the rustic charm and the country setting .
The kids can be kept entertained with the animal petting farm, pony trecking and two swimming pools...which came in handy as it was 32 deg in the shade !! Do your self a favour and make a visit...yuo will not be disappointed.

A lovely country location with lots of activities for children to do...archery, clay pigeon shooting, tennis, horse riding, ping pong in the games room. A nice swimming pool with mountain views would be lovely in warmer months.
The cottages are comfortable but they need a kitchenette. We had a six bedroom cottage with no central kitchen or dining room, each bedroom had a mini bar & hotel like kitchen area which is a little strange considering you only have breakfast & dinner at Spicers....where do you prepare lunch?

I was given a gift voucher to spend a night at Hidden Vale by a friend of mine, so my husband and I took the opportunity to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We always enjoy exploring and particularly love visiting the country and quieter, perhaps what some might consider 'a little out of the way' places, although it's surprisingly not that far away. When we stayed, there was only another couple of cabins occupied, so the whole property was virtually ours. Table tennis, a couple of rounds of pool, and watching the sunset as we gazed at the view by the pool deck set us in just the right mood to enjoy a beautiful dinner at the restaurant where we were looked after and made to feel comfortable. I can imagine how beautiful this place would be in winter with the novelty of the fireplaces burning - don't get much opportunity for that on the east coast of Australia. The weather was a bit rainy so put a dampener on the activites we wanted to do, but we'll just have to go back another time!
