From our arrival to our departure I honestly cannot fault this hotel.

Before we came I had to contact the hotel several times and found the manager Joan to be very helpful and highly professional with all of my queries, dealing with my booking quickly and efficiently.

We arrived late at night to a friendly and professional check in and then shown to our room by Adrian who helped us with our luggage.

The modern rooms in the hotel are large and kept spotlessly clean by the fantastic daily cleaning service who are friendly and do a brilliant job.

We stayed on an half board basis and found many tasty dishes for both breakfast and dinner with plenty of choices that cater to all tastes (food allergies are clearly marked on all dishes). The food is so good we ate in for dinner every night!!

The restaurant staff are very friendly and happy to help especially Juan who treats you like old friends but also Leticia and Renata who were great as well.

We are certain to return to this wonderful hotel and are already looking to book for next year.

Thank you to everyone at Monsuau

Had a break with my partner for 4 nights last Sunday to Thursday at the Hotel Monsuau its our third visit. It is exceptional in its cleanliness and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The pool is clean and the area is quiet as you would imagine adults only.

They have a Sky Bar situated on the roof which is by far the most picturesque and chilled bar at night see pic. Val who runs the bar is passionate about her trade and is skilled in the creation of her cocktails the best G & T you'll ever drink a work of art. She knows so much and to call her the bar person doesnt do her justice. Note you get what you pay for.

The pool staff are attentive and friendly especially Juan who greets you like an old friend and is genuinely glad to see you. The staff in the dining room are very nice renate is always smiling. The chef will prepare your breakfast eggs if you ask to specification if its your thing there is a gluten free presence in the buffet but very good.

During the sad demise of Thomas Cook the staff at Monsuau especially the Manager reassured everyone so you were able to enjoy your holiday with no problems at all.

I will always return fantastic Hotel with great staff. I am certainly not forgetting the staff who clean your room they are so good and are a credit to the hotel they are always willing to help.

My wife and I stayed at the SunPrime Monseau Hotel between 18th and 25th, September 2019. The Hotel had been highly recommended to us, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff at the Hotel were outstanding. On arrival we were greeted with a cold drink, and the booking in procedure was simple and efficient.

We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis, and we had requested a room with a larger balcony. Room 1002 was allocated to us. The room was of an exceptionally high standard. It was large and spacious with plenty of wardrobe and storage facilities . The bathroom was spacious with separate toilet and showering facilities. If you are a traveller who relies on the Hotel providing you with free soap, shampoo etc - be warned this Hotel only provided a Soap dispenser in the shower and sink area. As we take our own this was not an issue for my wife and I.

As a nice touch the Hotel provided a free bottle of Red wine and Water in the room upon our arrival.

The beds were extremely comfortable

The Hotel provided free Wi-Fi, and a security safe in the room. There was a large TV in the room with numerous English speaking channels.

The balcony was ideal for my wife and I - spacious, with room enough to easily accommodate 2 full size sun loungers , table and much more.

The room was cleaned everyday to a very high standard. Towels were replaced upon demand, and likewise if you required fresh bedsheets you simply left them in a conveniently placed washing basket under the bathroom sink.

You simply could not fault the room we stayed in.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The Breakfast in the Hotel was ideal. You have a wide choice of both hot and cold food which encompassed traditional Spanish fayre as well as the more traditional British type breakfasts. An omelette chef was available throughout the breakfast period. The quailty of the breakfast food and service was excellent.

The Hotel provides a well equipped gym and a variety of activities for guests. It seemed very popular with those guests interested in Yoga. The pool area was immaculate, with plety of sunbeds available. You have to remember that this Hotel is Adults only, and that probably explains why there was such a peaceful and serene feeling about the entire Hotel!

The Hotel is located a quiet part of Cala Dor - but you are only a 5/10 minute walk to lots of bars and restaurants, and there is a Spar supermarket literally outside the Hotel.

My wife and I could not recommend this Hotel highly enough. As with any Holiday experience you get to meet staff members who impress and always provide a high standard of service. During our stay we met two such employees. Joan on the front desk was always smiling and welcoming and no question was ever a problem to him. He was so very professional and friendly. Likewise during our breakfasts we met Renate, a Polish lady, who was the brightest and most cheerful person you could wish to meet first thing in the morning. She always had a smile on her face and a warm greeting for you. Thank you both for our holiday experiences.

As Thomas Cook customers the demise of the company occurred on the Monday of our Holiday. I have to commend the Hotel on their response. They were extremely reassuring and as helpful as they could be during that period. Joan on the front desk ensured that we had knowledge of our new flight details and altered pick up times.

I conclude by simply stating that if my wife and I cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough.

Dear Graham,

Unfortunately it was exactly the week that Thomas Cook went under, not exactly good news when you are on holiday
That is why we are so glad to read, your opinion about our hotel! All these good comments!

Our team is doing everything to feel you comfortable so it is great to read that you are satisfied with the service we gave you. Next year the concept from the hotel is exactly the same as the sunprime so we hope to welcome you again in 2020.

We wish you all the best and warm regards from us all.

We went to this hotel for a week in September 2019. It has to be one one the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed in. The staff are lovely, the place is spotless. We stayed on a bed and breakfast deal and were so impressed by the food especially the freshly cooked fried eggs or omelettes.
We were in a ‘classic’ room in the main block. It was enormous and the beds were extremely comfortable. If you appreciate Swedish design then this hotel will really appeal.
The only small criticism I can make is the price of drinks in the rooftop bar they are extremely expensive, the bar by the pool is much more reasonable.

Dear Jane,

Thank you for your time to write an opinion.
Nice to read that you were impressed by the breakfest and the room.

About your critical point about the prices of the Skylounge, we will speak it with our team to improve us in this point next year.

We wish you all the best and we hope to welcome you again next year.

Stayed here for a week the end of August/beginning September. It was our second stay, was there same time last year.
Nothing had changed, still EXCELLENT, spotless CLEAN, friendly staff.
You can have your room cleaned daily if you wish.
Always plenty of choice for food, breakfast was great. I struggled some nights but that's because I am a picky eater and don't eat seafood and there was a lot of fish dishes but like I say that's just me.

Had a swim up room in block 4, which was amazing. Shared with only 4 rooms, nice pool and sun all day.
Only gripe we had was we had asked for a swim up room in block 3 ( where we stayed last year) but on check in was told this is for Scandinavians only, which in my opinion is totally wrong, there'd be uproar if people were told this is for English only !!

Overall fantastic holiday and hotel

We are here at the moment and have a swim up pool, we are in room 2003, great room but i would advise to get 2006 (i might be wrong it terms of room number) but it’s further along ours and more depth re pool although you share the pool with everyone that’s on the ground floor that has access the pool. Although we’ve never have had to share as it’s really quiet. The sun doesnt tend to ge there though until after lunch time. Amazing hotel either way. You’ll have a brilliant time.

Either which has already been said. We didn't think the drinks were more expensive than in the UK. Don't think the people who say this ever go out! You will love the hotel.
