We have stayed at this hotel twice now and it is a great location to stop at near Madrid or on route to the costas. The hotel is old style Spanish with large traditionally furnished bedrooms and good quality bathrooms. The staff and owners are exceptionally helpful and kind. There is an outside pool in the summer months and the hotel has it's own restaurant which serves traditional Spanish cuisine and there is a buffet breakfast which has everything from pastries, toast, biscuits, cereal to cheese, meats, tomato and coffee, tea, juice and much more. There is plenty of free parking and this hotel is also dog friendly. Aranjuez itself is an amazing town and well worth a visit in its own right with beautiful gardens and historic buildings including a royal palace. There are also plenty of places to eat out.
this was a good hotel we stayed 2 nights in August . the lady on receptionn was very nice and told us about the Palace we didnt get to see it this trip. we were told where the station was and a train to madrid was a day trip. a cab back from the station was 7euros. there was some road works around when we were there so was a bit hard to drive around ,so we had breakfast and diner there one night we found the food very acceptable we sat on the terace to eat. there is a very nice swiming pool attached to the hotel in wooded grounds.where if you ask you can eat at a table there. you help yourself to a brekfast of fruit and cake and coffee is made for you.as much as you want.If you go out the back door past the swiming pool you will see a camping site oppisite if you walk up the path you will find a small musum and a very nice very old resturant and a lake with ducks also if you go onto the campsite you can get a very nice 3 course meal with a bottle of wine for 30euros' its also a very nice walk. we also walked around the town it has plenty of shops we bought some nice shoes for 10 euros and there was also some nice looking places to eat.a very inpressave old town with plenty of history to see.
Located approx 50k's south of Madrid, my husband and I plus our two dogs stayed here for one night on our way to Estepona. The room was quite large, initially not that warm but did warm up once we had switched the heaters. There is excellent wifi in all the rooms, which was great.
In the evening, we explored the town, which was extremely interesting, and only a very short walk from the hotel. There was a large amount of car parking space, which, in that town, a premium.
There is a swimming pool, and nice garden area, which must be nice in the summer.
The breakfast was excellent, and extremely good value at 7 euros. There was freshly squeezed orange juice, and lovely fresh croissants, fresh bread, fruit, cakes, cheese, ham and yoghurt.
Yes, if we were travelling that way again we would certainly stay there again.
