Clean and decorated cutely. Nice pool table and video game system. Had both a Keurig and a coffee pot. Comfy hot tub. Nice comfy beds. I would recommend this cabin to other families. The only downfall was the pool table was a little close to the windows upstairs, but all in all it was a nice stay.
Not a bad cabin. 4 bedroom 3 bath cabin with an upstairs bedroom bath with king bed. The basement has 2 bedrooms with a entertaining area as well with a pool table. The pool table is in bad shape missing a ball and one of the pool pockets is damaged with a bucket catching the balls. Has a hot tub on the patio and a jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bedroom. Needs some updating in the kitchen and doesn’t have the best views. There is also a community pool just down the road which is very nice. The other bedroom is on the main level with a king bed.
Housekeep obsiously doesn't check the dishes and there are FEW towels in all of the 4 bathrooms. So it's advised to take extra towels. Parking is tight. Also pools can be full of people drinking but don't cause any problems. The jacuzzi in our bathroom did not work. We stayed in Don't Fence Me In. The Top of the Stove and The Griddle were DISGUSTING! Didn't clean those. We cooked French fries in the oven and they tasted like chemicals (probably what houselkeeping used to clean it with). Hot tub is in an enclosed room. Wouldn't stay here again!
We rented 2 cabins for our family of 6. The resort is very clean ! The pools are nice. The resort has paved walking trails. The cabins are took care of and repairs have been made on cabins has needed. We have stayed in Alpine Mountain Resort twice and we can't wait to come back !
Many things to like about Alpine Village. Location, new construction, natural beauty, community feel, and multiple outdoor pools are the best attributes. This is my second stay and the bathroom/shower layout was the same and is not good, and the Internet service at both cabins was subpar... which can be a big deal since cell reception is not good.... but these are small blemishes compared to the pros.
Regarding Camelot cabin, specifically, I found it weirdly decorated (plastic Christmas trees, fake gift boxes in June? ), and furnished/equipped (deck table and chairs don't fit on deck, high top table with only three chairs of proper height, uncomfortable couches in main living area, no guest bathroom, many lights not working, sparse kitchen equipment, steep drive only wide enough for one car).
I'll stay at Alpine Village again, but not at Camelot. All that Piegoen Forge has to offer is a short drive away, GSMNP is 20 or 30 minutes.
