The location is not pretty, but it was convenient to stores and restaurants. Plenty of free parking. Check in was easy, but slow. The front desk staff was very friendly.
Our room was very contemporary with bright patterns that were fun for the kids and came with a well equipped kitchenette including a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, dishwasher, coffee maker and every dish or serving utensil you could need in a hotel. It appeared clean and new at first sight, but quickly went downhill in the details.
Our bed smelled like cologne and the sofa bed had hair in it. We asked for new sheets at the front desk and they handed them to us rather than remaking the beds. It was a friendly transaction, but lacking in customer service training or perhaps they were short staffed.
We were only given three towels for four people. We requested more towels and were told we could come down to get them. They handed us towels right out of the shipping box, so they had cardboard and construction dust on them. Again, it was a friendly transaction, but definitely lacking in awareness and training, or it was a result of being short staffed.
My husband ended up rewashing every item in the kitchenette before we used them, because there were coffee and lipstick stains inside the cups and food grit on the forks. We didn't bother saying anything to the staff at this point.
The bathroom was basic and clean. Toilet, sink, shower, shampoo and shower gel. Bring your own conditioner. I would recommend putting a drying line in the shower, because there is no tub ledge and the hotel will be popular with families that want to swim.
The pool was a unique and fun amenity. It has a shallow end for small children with a sprayer. The deep end has a slide that is popular with big kids. There were no pool towels though. There was lots of debris and what seemed like diaper pieces in the pool. It was extremely crowded over labor day weekend. There was a fire pit, but it wasn't turned on. I think turning it on would have helped dissipate the crowd at the pool. The gym and laundry area looked nice.
The breakfast is better than most free breakfast offerings. But if your a hilton honors member, you may be disappointed. It's not as good as the Hampton Inns we usually stay at. Steamable omelettes and egg sandwiches, whole grain waffles, pastries, juice, coffee, etc.
I would recommend adding some basic one time use, over the counter medications to the convenience items you can buy. Specifically allergy medicine. I had an allergic reaction to something in the waffles and they didn't have anything I could purchase on site. Maybe, consider doing the regular waffles like the Hampton.
I know this will seem like a harsh review, but the hotel just wasn't guest ready. I think once the hotel is fully equipped and fully staffed, it will be a decent place to spend a couple nights. The staff was friendly and genuinely wanted to be helpful. I think they were just lacking in training or didn't have enough staff for such a busy weekend. Something just wasn't working right.
The concept here hits all of the bases, my room for a solo person, could have slept 2 more. Extremely clean, well designed, fully equipped golly kitchen with enough dishes, silverware, knives etc for your personal needs. The room hit all of the bells & whistles, super comfortable bed, huge flat screen TV, small LR area (which was a foldout bed). I got a decent discount using my AARP benefits. Super clean hotel, that recycles & a clean and very efficient gym with coin laundry. Nice outdoor spaces to sit, very nice pool and even a bbq area if you so desire. I can't say enough good things about this brand by Hilton! Ample Free Parking! Well worth your comfort and stay...
Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Fun pool. Helpful front desk. Very nice room. Quiet. Good shopping in Chatanooga. Dont go when its 98 degrees . Hotel has nice pool and cool water but it's super hot in early September
We had to evacuate FL due to hurricane Dorian. My family and I spent 5 days at this hotel. The hotel looks new and all the facility is maintained very well. The pool was great for the kids. There are two grills that we used and this helps to feel like home. Overall, we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Chattanooga.
I have stayed in this brand before so I knew I would not be disappointed and I was not. The rooms are great the price reasonable and the staff was great. They have a nice pool area and the pool is a salt pool so no abrasive chorlene smell on the suit or skin. The breakfast area was clean and well taken care of. the choices for food was good. My only compaint was that the wall are a litttle thin, We had a neighbor the first night who talked so loud on his cell phone. Definetly will go back if in the area
