Write a reviewTathra was a great surprise , was looking for somewhere on the south coast to spend a few days so booked Beach House on line .We had a lovely tree house 2 bedroom unit with everything we could want . The grounds are beautiful with lots of birds and wildlife . Located across from the beach and a short walk from shops and restaurants .We were there in October and whales swam past close to the wharf . I hired a mountain bike from the friendly bike shop just down the road and spent a great day on the single tracks on the hill behind town while my wife had a massage at the Sapphire Spa near by . Tathra is a great base close to Bega and Eeden , a lovely little town by the sea .

We are finding that as our gardens are maturing we are finding more and more wildlife moving in, Echidnas, Lyre Birds, Bower Birds, Antechinus and the occasional Kangaroo and Goanna. We are also pleased you enjoyed the Tathra mountain bike tracks, the tracks in Tathra are now recognised as some of the best in Australia, the Tathra Enduro is on the 12th & 13th April, perhaps you may be interested in this great event. Stayed here for a couple of nights in a split level 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was well appointed and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to the beach and mountain bike trails. I asked for their quietest room and I have to say it was very quiet. Will be staying here again in the near future.

Hi Geoff, Thank you for reviewing Tathra Beach House Apartments, we appreciate receiving feedback from our guests. I think you probably stayed in one of our two bedroom Tree Top apartments, these are set back high in the complex overlooking gardens, ponds and water features. They are a little more private and a good option for those seeking a little more peace and quiet. At the moment we are offering a special whereby a couple can stay in a 2 bedroom Tree Top apartment at a one bedroom rate. We have some fantastic bike tracks in Tathra built, by some dedicated local riding enthusiasts who enjoy the fact that visitors to Tathra also make use of them. The fact that the tracks are just a short ride from our property is an added bonus. We look forward to welcoming you back to Tathra Beach House soon! Regards Rob White

I have stayed here in one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartments over the last few years. Usually I travel with work and stay in the one bedroom. The place is always well maintained, lovely and clean and the soft furnishings are tasteful giving the place a luxurious feel. The in room kitchen facilities, laundry and large fridge freezer are very handy for the longer stays. The situation is idyllic and the views out over the water from some apartments is wonderful.

Our family of four stayed for one night and could have moved in permanently. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and were made to feel welcome. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom ocean view rooms with a spa on the deck. It was well equipped and had everything you would need for a longer stay. The gardens and pool/spa were amazing and well maintained. Our 8 year old daughter loved making friends with the wildlife - the turtle, the rainbow lorikeets and the small marsupials. The location of the resort was also great, across from the beach and close to food.
Would definitely recommend a stay here if visiting Tathra.

Hi Fiona Hi Fiona Thank you, we are very pleased you enjoyed your stay with us at Tathra Beach House; we also hope you have a chance to return and perhaps stay a little longer as we are able to offer lower rates for longer stays! At the moment we have quite a bit of wildlife in our gardens some Lyrebirds and Bower birds as well, the turtle has been in our pond for a number of years, we originally found him injured beside a road, he seems to also enjoy staying with us. Had 4 days here recently in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect. Great accommodation, close to everything, pool and spa perfect. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay again.
