Great food and selection of drinks. Definitely worth staying the night. Stayed in a twin room for a night away to escape London. Great bar-staff and manager. Playhouse outside ideal for younger children. Highly recommend!

easy access and plenty of room to move inside restaurant, staff very polite. it was very quiet but being the day before mothering Sunday this was to be expected I suppose. Menu was on the limited size especially as 3 members of our party were diabetic and had dietary needs but you find this problem in most food places. every one enjoyed the meals they had and all the food was of good standard. could have done with a little background music maybe when so quiet to give a bit of atmosphere.

Small but practical room. We didn’t dine there but the interior looked very homely.Restaurant is worth a try. Pleasant staff for breakfast. Plenty of parking. Avoid toom overlooking the road as I found it noisy with the window open.

Many thanks for your review Mr Chinthurst.
We are happy to hear that generally your stay was a pleasant one apart from the Alton road which can be quite busy at times.
Kind regards

We stayed at The Poacher Inn for two nights, attending a nearby wedding. The accommodation and breakfast are excellent value, the room having recently been refurbished with modern details such as USB sockets to recharge phones etc. Not large, but this is sensibly priced.

Front of house is Magda, who exudes charm, with a 'nothing is too much trouble' approach. On our first morning she arranged a late breakfast after we had gone off to do the local parkrun, not returning until 10.30am.

All in all, highly recommended.

Our daughter booked us in here for the night and it was lovely. Very nice welcome by the owner and the staff are all lovely. We had an awesome room over looking the front of the Inn. Very characteristic, lovely comfy bed, lovely shower, plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again when we are in Odiham and will recommend it.
