Stayed here for a few days after a recent trip to Karijini in Sept/Oct.
We stayed in a room in the Shearers Quaters. Fantastic set up in the room. Roomy with a fridge, ceiling fan, air con, somewhere to hang your clothes, comfy queen bed, a single bed and plenty of power points in places that made sense for charging all your devices. Linen was provided. Plugging in a car fridge wasn't a problem here.
If staying in these rooms you have exclusive access to a special area with the following: a kitchen with the best amenities that we've seen in a camp kitchen anywhere, multiple sitting and dining areas, bbq, fire pit, toilets and shower and a lawn area. Kitchen and sitting area is screened and has fans so no pesky flies or bugs in your food.
Everything is kept very clean and very well maintained. Staff are courteous and very helpful.
We did the not to be missed burger night with entertainment which was fantastic. Also had a long table dinner booked which was so amazing that we booked for the following night too. Beautiful fresh and tasty food at a working cattle station, who would have thought. Well done to the chefs.
The cafe in the Woolshed serves great coffee and drinks, large moreish scones with jam and cream and lots of other assorted homemade baked goods. It was AFL grand final when we were there and they set up an area in the Woolshed for chairs so we could all watch the final on a big screen.
Plenty of places to sit and chill and areas for the kids to run around too.
Wandering friendly pet farm animals, sheep, calves and horses are a bonus.
We would recommend staying here to anybody. They have rooms or places for tents or caravans. They now even have a bar in the Woolshed for drinks.
The owners and staff should be very proud of what they have achieved here. Visit, you won't be sorry.

WOW!!! That is just the best review! thankyou so very much. I am so thrilled to hear that you loved your Bullara experience. we try hard to do the small things and hope that they are memorable for all the right reasons! I love the lodge, is simple but as you pointed out, has all the right things going on to provide a comfortable stay. I hope that we get to see you back here another season. best wishes Edwina

We chose this location on our 6th night of our trip through the north of WA. We stayed in one of the restored shearers quarters. Basically a caravan park and camping site. The room was clean and tidy with polished concrete floor. TV. and fridge in room. No wifi and poor phone reception. The showers and toilets were in a shared areas. Numerous walk trails and hikes. Has a restaurant which serves week night meal and also serves scones and coffee in the mornings at reception. A unique experience if you are looking for something different.

We really enjoyed our stay in one of the sharers' lodge rooms as part of our honeymoon. It was just a shame that we were on a tight itinerary and could only stay one night! We had pre-booked the room and a dinner BBQ pack, and were really pleased with both. The home-grown meat, which we BBQed ourselves - our only Aussie barbie of the trip! - was delicious, as was the generous salad, baked potato and coconut tart with cream - yummy! And all brought over to the Bull Bar by Tim, who showed us around the vast self-catering kitchen, communal sitting and eating area, outside BBQ and lit the fire pit. It was fab! We went for a walk over to the red sand dunes before dinner, watched the lovely sunset, and star-gazed after dark whilst sat by the fire. The family were lovely, facilities good and clean, and we'd definitely recommend!

Bullara is a lovely spot to stay. Good size sites, easy access off main road, love the showers. Plenty of powered sites, many with shade.
The restaurant meal was great and John’s damper was excellent. But save some room for the morning scones. Best ever.
A couple of lovely walks to do plus the nightly camp fire is great for meeting people.
Well done guys.

We stayed in the shearer’s quarters. Very comfortable room with fridge, drinking water and cooking facilities nearby. Outdoor showers fantastic. Fresh scones delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. I went for an early morning run on the trail and their lovely kangaroo kept me company for 4km. Was a magical life memory.
