We had six divers in our group, after arriving exhausted after our very long 28+ hour journey, we were so happy to find out the restaurant was open late! The staff quickly got us organized and our stuff to our rooms in the dark. We took a day off from diving the first day and just chilled, and then powered through 24 dives in 10 days. For us that is a LOT of diving. Our dive guides, Parta and Wayan, were awesome! They made our holiday. They catered to our needs, helped the ladies in our group get in and out of the water, carried my camera and picked me up more than once as I rolled around in the surf! Night dives can be tricky! All kidding aside they were really great. They showed us some incredible creatures and we got some great pictures. The reef right outside the resort is a really nice dive. There is an awesome anemone garden very close by with thousands of "nemo fish" in about 10 - 15 ft of water, we spent a bunch of time just chillin' in the surge watching the beautiful fish!

The resort is right on the water, so even though it was hot it was not unbearable, the breeze cooled you right down. The restaurant staff were very good, and the menu is pretty extensive and the food prices were good also. We like to drink wine and unfortunately on Bali wine is expensive, but we soldiered through with Bintang and some coolers from the shop down the street. You can buy beer, wine, hard liquor and various coolers there, as well as snacks or any small things you might need.

The grounds of the resort are well kept and have extensive gardens with shade trees so you can hang in the shade if you want. The rooms are very clean and functional, it isn't a five star resort as far as accommodation goes, but who needs a fancy room when you spend your days outside! We downloaded Netflix movies and TV shows and never watch one of them. We only slept in our rooms and spent the rest of the time either diving or hanging out by the pool, where you can be in the sun or shade.

We changed up our dive schedule a few times and the resort accommodated our changes without batting an eye. Parta said, "if you are happy, I am happy", awesome service! Our group is pretty experienced, so they let us dive as long as we had air. Most of our dives were well over an hour. The shallows by drop off, which is right down the beach, are spectacular with big groups of schooling fish.

The resort is located close to some good dive sites. The liberty wreck is pretty awesome and drop off is also very good and these are very close the the resort. The rest of the dives we did were a short car ride away. We did some "muck" diving and the highlight of my trip was getting a decent picture of the "shaun the sheep" nudibranch and pygmy seahorses. If you like macro or wide angle there are opportunities for both.

We also spent some time in the spa - all I can say is - amazing!! I had three massages while I was there, they were the best I had ever had. I also treated my self to a facial and pedicure, after we were done our diving, and they were fantasic also. The facial was also one of the best I had ever had. My skin was so happy for the extra care after 10 days of diving!

I would recommend this resort for sure! Suci was really helpful arranging things before hand and answering all of our questions. It was the best diving I have done to date, beds were comfy, food was good - what more can you ask for? We are hoping to go back soon!

The hotel is really nice. I love the hidden spots everywhere to chill and relax. The rooms are good (different categories if you want a view or balcony etc). Hot shower, AC and wifi included. The restaurant / pool area create a lovely atmosphere and the food is good. Breakfast is included and great (you have different options to choose from). You can get massages or organize Your Dive directly with the hotel. Good value !

Nice rooms generally, but we had problems with the hot water in both our road facing room and fancier bungalow room. Didn't matter too much, except that after diving, particularly night diving, it's nice to be able to warm up.

Also, the bathroom in the roadside room smelled of bad bathroom with the fan off and kerosene with the fan on. Neither ideal!

Restaurant and pool area are nice and food is fine.

This facility is definately what I would describe as rustic. Room very very basic and small. Breakfast was ok and other foods for lunch, dinner etc a bit hit and miss. Scuba diving wise we were disappointed with the actual underwater experience as not much to see really, although the wreck is easily accessible and worth one dive, the dive guide was great so no complaints there. We actually cut our trip shortvas literally nothing in Tulamben to do and no sandy beach to sit on. I think it is slightly over priced for what you get although sme people had agreed a better price in advance directly with the hotel. Pool was nice but tiny. Staff friendly.

Sorry that you didnt check about your Tulamben Trip in advance. If you read our webside we say very clear: no white sand, no sun set, no parties in Tulamben.... If you are looking for that it will be better to stay in the south of Bali. For diving it is also very different what you are looking for. If you see the reviews about diving in Tulamben 98 % of the people love the biodiversity in our area. For the room you are right: If you spend only around 23 USD for 2 person included breakfast in a place direct at the beach and with swimming pool you can not expect to stay in "Hilton". Sorry for that..... and thank you to all the other guests which love to stay in Tulamben and special also with us.

I was here for a couple of days to try my hand at diving. It is pretty much the best place to stay in the area if diving is what you want. If diving is not your thing then there is the spa and a restaurant with great view and sunbeds to just chill with a cold one.

The rooms are basic but comfortable enough. Being a family run establishment the place has a very homely vibe to it. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to help you out.

The highlight of the resort is the restaurant and pool area with great views. it is right at the edge of the ocean and you will find enthusiasts just walking into the sea to dive or snorkel. So much so they have had to put up a sign asking people to not come in to the restaurant in diving gear :) Then there is the view of mount Agung on the other side.

The food is also very good with reasonable prices.

We booked a two day package with came with one complementary meal a day and a one hour massage session in the spa for each of us. Be mindful though to select foods from the breakfast/lunch/dinner menus for the complementary meals. Something which we didn't do , but they were kind enough to take off the items from the said menus from our bill.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will be more than willing to come back again.
