Location is a bit far from UIUC but close to the CMI airport. Breakfast hour is good (6-10 AM) for everyday. Indoor pool and fitness center are very new. The only issue we had was our room door can't be locked using the lower lock since the metal piece was not aligned properly. Reported to front desk but no one ever come to fix it.
I was on a long road trip and was traveling alone. I chose this motel because it is new and right off of I-57. I stayed twice, once on the way north, and again on the way south. I had a great stay both times. Clean rooms and lobby, friendly staff. Being alone, I worry about safety but that was not an issue at all here. Nice pool, fire pit, and breakfast. There is a great little Mexican restaurant right across the parking lot. I would definitely stay here again when passing through Champaign.
The hotel staff at this location are wonderful.....Especially, Shane at the Front Desk! She truly listens and cares about the guest's experience!
We enjoyed the indoor pool and sitting around the outdoor fire pit. It was a great way to unwind, at the end of the day.
The El Toro Restaurant is located across the parking lot from the Hampton Inn, a great, nearby, dining option!

New facility right off of I 57 in West Champaign. Located in the Carle at the fields complex. It seems that this in was primarily positioned here for Carle surgery center patients. Thus, many ADA features, including disabled lift for Pool, rooms for hearing impaired, etc. The decor is young and hip. Since this is a new Complex, there are a few amenities nearby, such as restaurants or even gas stations possibly making it less attractive for a road trip stop. However, this side of Champaign really needed extra lodging if one needs to be on this side of town. Lots of snacks and sundries to purchase near the check-in desk. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave which is enormously helpful if you are staying a couple of days. Bathrooms are bright with plenty of countertop plus convenient hooks to hang cosmetic organizers. Stylish grab bars in tub area. My only complaint with bathroom is that there is not two sets of plugs. I have been seeing many more inn of late which offer this and it is very much welcome by us ladies who need to plug in both blow dryer and straightener simultaneously. Beds were very comfortable with four pillows for each queen bed. The only irritating issues in the main room was that one of the beds squeaked against the padded headboard and the air conditioner fan would not come on until the room temperature had risen two degrees higher than the set temperature. As I sleep hot, this led to waking up covered in sweat multiple times during the night. Solution seemed to be setting the room cooler than I would normally and switching the fan to low. Overall though, This hotel exceeded my expectations and more than met my needs for frequent visits to West Champaign.
