the property was dirty, the room was filthy and dusty, the floor was sagging, the bathroom had tile missing round the tub,, bath door had hole in it and was filthy, the walls had 2 colors of paint. . the outside was rusting away, the staff was accomadating when we asked for a chair to sit on as there was no chairs to sit in only the lumpy mattresses to sit on.charged $10.00 for small pet
Fairly small, but clean rooms. Our room was cramped, but more than enough for us and our dog. Exterior of hotel needing some attention, which isn't unexpected, given it probably gets overrun during Bike Week. Located near Harley Davidson and just down the street from Iron Horse. Landscaping was very nice. No continental breakfast (don't think they have space for it) but very good complimentary coffee and tea available in lobby.
Easy on and off the interstate. Not a place to spend the weekend but a nice place for you and your dog to retool for the next day. Saw the other reviews what were you expecting for what you were paying???? Manager Hitish Patel was very polite and let us look at the room before we decided to stay. The room was dated but smelled fresh. Bring your own shampoo, soap etc. You can back your vehicle to the door to unload what you want and keep an eye on your car for what you did not unload. A big plus for me. Seemed the rooms reserved for the dogs were the same ones that faced the highway. I could hear the trucks etc. but the sound put me to sleep. There are places to eat walking distance from the hotel. Coffee is provided in the lobby.
Stayed here because of the low price. Almost sliced off a toe in the bathroom because all the tiles were broken and lifting up. Bugs on the floor. Room floor was sticky. Just very dirty. Bathroom is barely big enough for 1/2 a person. Just not worth it after all. Totally grossed out.
I have stayed in numerous Red Roof Inns across the southeastern states. I have always found them to be clean and accommodating. We occasionally travel with our dog, and Red Roof Inns allow you to bring your pet. Last night’s stay in the Ormond Beach Red Roof Inn will make me question whether I ever stay in another one. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and most accommodating (the only plus side to the stay). Our room faced the interstate and the noise from that was horrible, not to mention that there is a train track directly behind the hotel. Between the train whistle blowing 3 times in the middle of the night, noise from the interstate, and noise fom the busy highway where the hotel is located we got no sleep. The room was filthy! The floors were black and didn’t look like they had been mopped or vacuumed in months. The bathroom vanity had only 1 light with the bulbs removed from the other two sockets. The bathroom door would not close all the way. The tub was slippery with no mat or anything available. The bed was uncomfortable and there were numerous holes in the comforter. I would not recommend this Red Roof Inn!
