This apart-hotel was sufficient for our 3 night stay. Not the most comfortable room. Balcony balustrade was rotten and falling apart so not good for small children. Small kitchen areas was great apart from the fact that there was no cutlery available at all so you couldn't actually use the facilities available.
Spa was great and most of the reception staff were helpful and polite.
A 20 minute walk from gondola station as this hotel sits right on the outskirts of town.

The worst 4 stars hotel I ever was. The room wasn't clean, the bathroom very small and without shower cabin. It was water all over the floor in the toilet.
For 2 days we hadn't water for severals hours. We had to stay unwashed after ski :(
The breakfast was poor and the same every day. The dinner the same. For 3 days we took dinner in others restaurants.
I dont recommand this location.
The single good things were the slopes but were very crowded and people very rude.
Bansko is a very polluted resort. We are sure that we never come back. Austria is a better destination.

After arriving the first day, Mr Goechev who works on reception was really rude, without even greeting us, or informing us when our room will be ready for us he said that we arrived early.
After we entered our room, we tried to rest. however sheets where full of hair and stains, internet didn't work and housekeeper didn't understood word that we said, on Serbian, English, Spanish or even Russian.

When we call to complain and ask for sheet to be changed, housekeeper that enter named ROsa was extremely rude, trying to tell us that sheets are clean.
The 3 women that entered the room, had strange smell, and neither one of them could understand what we were trying to say.

The food was really bad, 7 days of same meals, with again, staff with strange smell, and overpriced espresso coffee of 8 leves in your bar.
The day we prepared to leave our room we got accused that we took two towels.
I went in the room and showed them were we left towels, behind the entrance doors, under sheets, that now were removed.

I asked her were are those towels and your housekeeper was not able to understand me, after what she called reception.
When I got on reception same bold gentleman, called Mr Goechev, I tried to pay for towels, however your employee said to me that I am not guest of the hotel and I am not welcome anymore.

He start telling me how hotel;s staff is not required to understand me, by the law.
He also, tried to threatens me with lawsuit,.

During my life I traveled a lot, from Spain, Austria, Germany, Golden Sands in Bulgaria, to Greece and Moscow to name few countries and cities and I ever, never encountered such rudeness and neglect toward hotel guests like I did in this hotel.

From staff going around you overlooking how much you eat for breakfast and dinner, to rude receptionists who are never around when you call or have question, to not having our bathroom cleaned in 7 days, and after we asked we only got towels exchanged.
I also tried to explain receptionist that I will make sure to lave bad reviews everywhere about this experience, and in shock received his counterargument that no one cares about my satisfaction or my reviews
I would not recommend this hotel if you look Western European

We stayed there one week at the beginning of January. We really enjoyed it. We had a nice and spacious room in the main building. We were on HB, breakfast and dinner were good. The staff was very kind with us. They have spa facility which is nice and relaxing after a day spent skiing. The hotel has a minibus that gets visitors to the ski resort. It's only 15 minutes walk, but it's good you can rely on transportation when you're tired.

Many of those who write here bad reviews maybe did this because they got the wrong hotel. It's Bansko - it's in the heart of the mountains, it's not a seaside hotel, there is no beach there... I am still confused of some reviews, because they definitely don't belong to Royal Park and Spa, Bansko.

Me and my girlfriend went skiing in bansko, and this hotel was horrendous. Nothing like the pictures. Staff are the most rude people ever (to English people!) but will openly laugh at you with other eastern European guests in their own language. All inclusive was absolutely disgusting, smallest amount of food possible (around 8 trays, half of that was cold food like salad etc). We were surprised we even lived!!! Spa is nice, but always trying to sell additional packages. Definitely would not recommend to anyone from England as you'll be treated terribly. Also we were put in a 'non-smoking room' which stunk of smoke. When asked to be moved, we were put in a other 'non-smoking room' which also stunk of smoke. I was suffering with a chest infection at the time which made it worse. Would never visit again.
