Don’t expect it to be an enjoyable stay. Expansive rooms! Inviting lobby! Wonderful lobby! Great breakfast spread! And a great team! The pool was tempting! All of that made up for the still closed gym and spa!
Heard it has been opened for a few weeks and some rooms aren't finished yet.
However the best looking Dusit Hotel I've stayed in and visited.
Modern looking. Wonderful looking pool.
Big and spacious rooms.
Great looking and big bathroom, however the shower glass doors were poorly planned. After you have your shower expect water to run thru the tiles when you get out.
The pillows are too soft for me, considering there were two pillows.
Hope in a bottle complimentary drinks on a milk carton.
First time to have complimentary Colas, Sparkling water and Beers.
Every night visited by staff to drop off special handcrafted items by natives.
Breakfast buffet looks limied, maybe because still on soft opening. Miso soup is too salty.
I'd still consider staying here next time.
We decided to check out this new hotel in Davao and stayed over a weekend. Price for Pool view was quoted at Php 8000.
I see that they offer cheaper today.
The lobby is large and beautiful and the staff very kind and service minded. Smooth check in and transfer to the room.
The room is large and clean and very modern. A small balcony and a large bathroom. Fast WiFi and small rather limited minibar.
On the weekend it was only Buffet available at Php 1400. A nice buffet but not better than other in the city for less than Php1000.( M-P) .
The breakfast was good and of international standard.
we also tried the Gourmet coffee shop which offers bread and cakes.
We thought the pool was great and we spent several hours there. Plenty of alternative seating arrangements and good service for drinks and snacks.
We also tried the Gym which is modern and well equipped.
All in all this is a nice and modern hotel and certainly suitable for families. Location maybe a bit far out and nothing to do in the nearby surroundings for those who like to take a walk around the block. Also no late late bar for those who like to take
a night cap. Anyway, if you stay here you will not be disappointed.
My family and I had a very relaxing stay in one of their pool view rooms! We got a king bed, so my husband, almost 2 year toddler, and I got to fit in one bed. The hotel also offers a baby crib, but the mattress on that crib was quite thin almost to nothing. Good thing that our daughter want to sleep in the bed with us.
The room has complete amenities, very spacious, especially the bathroom! Appreciate so much the welcome platter with the sweets.
The food is great especially the Thai dishes, however, the food tends to be cold. Wish they could improve on their heating system with their food.
For quite a big restaurant, they do not have enough high chairs.
Pool is great, wish they have more amenities for the kids.
Gym was beautiful, really liked it!
Staff is great, but the front desk could improve a little bit more.
When I saw that it is already open , I made sure to book even just for a night. I have waited for quite sometime to see what Dusit Davao has to offer.
Upon going through the entrance, I felt I was entering a village with the guard check and all. Much appreciated though since security is important. I was just a bit disappointed because the frontage and the side views of the property is not appealing. Oh well, they are just under soft opening.
Upon entering the lobby though, I felt transported to a whole new world. It’s Thai with a Zen Vibe. The front desk and the concierge across looks amazing. Look up and the piece d resistance is right up there, an intricate wooden ceiling/roof treatment! At the center of the lobby is the cafe/lounge Siam, tastefully decorated with a centerpiece that catches the eye. A driftwood indoor plant ensemble with a “kawa” spewing out perpetual dry ice. Nice! Before you get to the lift, lo and behold! The pool is divine! The two koi ponds on the left and right side lends a serene vibe. The lounge chairs right in the middle of the pool looks so inviting!
All deluxe rooms were fully booked so no choice but the suites and it did not disappoint. I guess it’s a showcase of the residence units being offered by Dusit , which occupies the center of the 3 buildings. The hotel is on the north wing and some floors of the south wing. Room is furnished elegantly, modern yet homey. Bed and pillows so comfy. And the bathroom, so sweet!
I definitely enjoyed my stay here and will definitely recommend.
