I stayed at 4 bedrooms villa. The water keeps running off, the floor is dirty and so many dust. I also found mosquito larva inside the water dispenser which me and my family had been drink. It was so disgusting. I forgot to take a picture. We ended up buying our own water..
Not again. Never again me and my family will ever stayed here. Really not worth the price. Also a lot of ants on my bed
Stayed at 4 room Chempaka Villa. Was disappointed when we checked in. TV set not working, frustrating when you have kids!!. All toilets did have any basic toiletries, no towels not even soap. Toilet was also not so clean.
The view from this villa was actually the only consolation.
There are no nearby shops or restaurants, have to drive out of estate.
Villa Gardenia, located in Lembang,Bandung, is a nice place to chill out - mainly coz the weather here is cooling, and is a respite from the humid heat of Jakarta.
We arrived late at the location, as it was a long, slow traffic-jammed drive from Jakarta. Ended up arriving at the rear gate, which was locked, as we had come through another direction, and relied on our GPS to bring us there. Luckily, their staff arrived on bikes to open the gate and guide us to the villa.
This cozy place has 16 units of wooden-style houses (named after flowers), and each unit comes fully equipped with water heaters, satellite TV, fridge, kitchen and cooking facilities - ideal for family gatherings, etc. The interior, though not air-conditioned, is cool throughout the day (and night!), and well ventilated.
There are several swimming pools scattered throughout the villa surroundings, and the restaurant area on the upper floor overlooks the surrounding properties. Pony-riding is also available, and one can rent bicycles to move around the area as well. Children will enjoy swimming at one of the pools, which has a water slide.
The unit which we had booked was a 2-room upper floor unit, with a comfy chill-out area at the balcony overlooking the swimming pool in front of the entrance.
In the morning, breakfast was served to our unit - delicious nasi uduk, which is rice and condiments. It was nice to have something nice and hot to eat on a cool morning... :)
Overall, a nice place to beat the heat, and there are other attractions nearby, which should be able to keep one pretty occupied.
