But the stars of this resort, was the staff. Very friendly and attentive. To me it seemed, they wanted to be there and take pride in their work.
I will be back for sure.

My partner and I stayed at Anusara for a few nights and can not fault our stay. The room, private pool, huge bath, outdoor shower, service and food have all been perfect! The staff have been very helpful and friendly and the shuttle bus provided easy commuting to the centre of Ubud. Without feeling isolated, our time spent here has been private and relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle.

We stayed in the two-bedroom Presidential Villa with my family. We booked initially a two nights stay but opted for extra two nights. Our plan to stay in Ubud changed upon seeing this marvelous place. The luxurious villa has both of what Ubud has to offer; a nice rice paddy and a tropical forest view from our room and the in the infinity pool.
The place is brand new and we are privileged to be the first guests to have stayed in this magnificent villa. The architectural design of the place reflects the Balinese way of life; defined as simple and in harmony with nature. This is complimented with modern facilities with minimalist touch. It also has a cooking stove and an oven. I really did get my cooking skills to use! It is perfect for us who love to make our own food.
The entire staff had exerted every effort to make us feel welcomed and would always find ways to accommodate our every request. Wayan, the driver/tour guide, has introduced us to a lot of the Balinese culture during our trip complimentary of Anusara. Yes, the stay is inclusive of tours around Ubud areas and other tourist places in Bali. He is a trustworthy and jolly person. It was very enriching for my family to have seen how rice is planted and harvested in one of our visits. Our Bali trip was made complete by Wayan as he successfully immersed us with the local culture and tradition.
Gusti, the manager is a man of integrity who always exudes calmness. He has plenty of experience in the field of hospitality industry. Keep up the good job! Putri, the receptionist is always the caring and gentle woman. We had the chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve with Peter, the villa owner, who is both down-to-earth and a man of wisdom. It was really pleasant to have exchanged ideas about life and the world around us. Cheers! Truly, the service and experience can only be rated as five-star!
My wife and I always travel in every romantic place around the world. I thought at first that I would no longer get excited to stay in a luxury villa as Anusara (after our over-water bungalow experience in Bora Bora and Maldives, to name a few). But I was wrong! As I have mentioned, we ended up staying longer. We are already planning our next trip to Ubud this year with a bigger entourage.

My girlfriend and I had an awesome stay in Anusara!
Pros:
- Location is not too far from the markets in Ubud, but still far enough that it is quiet
- You can easily book tours and drivers with the villa staff. The prices are quite reasonable and guides are very nice
- The staff are very accommodating to requests for early morning breakfast boxes, and other asks like laundry
- The room is nicely kept, pool and lounge area in the honeymoon suite is perfect
Cons:
- Food was just alright, not amazing but good enough
- Hot water runs out quickly in showers

Couldn’t be happier with the standard of the resort and its service. My girlfriend and I were amazed with the level of helpful and happy service when it came to everything, organizing tours, room service, free shuttle service to and from Ubud central and an credible poolside romantic dinner for two in
our villa.
The room was very clean apron arrival and remained so everyday after house keeping was done. We stayed in the honeymoon villa. The view of the jungle and infinity pool created the perfect spot to escape the afternoon heat and to relax.
The resorts restaurant provided great service ( room service, breakfast and in restaurant itself) and the food was of a very high standard.
We would highly recommend Anusara to anyone traveling to Ubud.

About your question these room are same categories, for one bedroom Villa we have two type which is Honeymoon Villa and Deluxe One Bedroom both rooms has different view
Honeymoon Villa : Jungle and Rice paddies view
Deluxe One Bedroom : Rice Paddies view only
Some time we do offer some free upgrade for Deluxe stay in Honeymoon Villa under condition base of our availability

No it only has private pools. As it mostly caters for people that like a more private retreat. You do meet people at breakfast or lunch and dinner if you’re about
