This is a lowcost apartment hotel. Only one staff for the reseption/bar/kitchen. The pool was very dirty. But the room was clean. Quiet area close to the bar street. But the staff was friendly. Only for å det nights its ok og you do not have high ex.
rooms are nice and spacious, good size kitchenette comfortable furniture, clean and tidied on arrival. it is an apartment so cleaning/bins throughout the week was our responsibility not that its an issue but people should be aware. staff very friendly and welcoming good pool and bar area and very short 10min walk from the centre of town.
The hotel was simple and well maintained. The pool and bar clean and inviting. The management and staff customer service second to none. They really made the trip and stay and it was a pleasure to be there
I stayed at Florea Apartments with 4 friends on a party holiday to Ayia Napa.
The first thing to note is that this is not a hotel, it is an apartment. Therefore do not expect your room to be cleaned (or bedsheets changed) during your stay. Also as someone else put it, don't expect a hotel style service (help carrying bags etc) or you will be disappointed!
However if you are looking for a basic apartment then Florea fits the bill. We slept 3 drunken Englishmen comfortably in one room and although air con will cost you 8 euros a night ours seemed to work well.
The pool is decent, but note that the bar is not a swim up style bar as I have seen advertised. There is music playing all day (8am to 1am ish) and you get WiFi around the pool so it's a good place to chill during the day. The bar serves OK food (ideal for what we wanted) but dont expect gourmet dining at the price.
However, if you're going to spend most of your time by the pool, as opposed to the beach, I would recommend using the pool/bar at one of the more upmarket and larger hotels, they usually don't mind as long as you buy drinks. Just use florea as a bed, breakfast and pre-drink place.
The location is great, with the main strip only 10 minutes walk, a convenience store right outside and decent takeaway around the corner.
The negatives would be that playing music until 1/2am is a little strong considering you're likely to be elsewhere at that point unless you're having a night in, and the WiFi is poor to non existant in the rooms.
Overall I'd recommend for a party holiday HQ.
My friend and I booked here to stay here July 11th for 11 nights. We arrived around 12am in the morning being greeted by the owner. We didn't even step into the hotel before he told us that we would be getting moved because of 'pipe damage' in the room. We got moved to NAPA ace apartments.. we got sent straight to the room and did not even check in, there was NO POOL, ANTS ALL OVER THE ROOM, and we felt very unsafe as it was literally on the trip. When I informed the owner of FLOREA hotel. he said there was nothing he could do and we had to stay there.
No apologies, no nothing.
Luckily for my friend and I the travel agents moved us to another hotel due to this appalling service as we felt extremely unsafe.
I would 100% not recommend the florea hotel unless you want to be shipped somewhere without any notice and any apology.
Awful, still fuming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
