Stayed in Unit 47. An amazing view from both rooms. Lie in bed and watch the sunrise. Clean and comfortable, bedroom,kitchen and living room with a comfy lounge on the balcony to lie on and soak up the morning sun.

1st room given: air con not working at all, and looked like that was a long time like that already (how come they don't know at reception, because the technician knew). Room has very dirty + aged carpet (you don't want to go barefoot). Were given another room - air con working, but it was barely any cleaner. Worst - advertised in booking websites and road sign with "free wifi". Upon check in you are told daily limit is 100 MB, thereafter must pay huge for more data - THAT IS NOT FREE WIFI. You turn on your laptop and auto-updates already exceeds that daily limit. Staff were rude and unapologetic when confronted being so misleading and lying advertising. I will lodge a ACCC complaint, first time ever I do such as I deem this as really serious. Ocean view as advertised is a slither of a 5 degree vision, nothing what it presented in their advertising. This is a complete rip-off by false representation.

After only booking the basic studio room for our 1 night stay I wasn't expecting much but were very happy with the room and the unexpected view of the ocean.
Though the bed was on the hard side the room was clean and spacious.
The location couldn't be better with a lovely boardwalk seating area over the road and great views up the stretch of the beach. Walk a block up the road to the surf club, shops, cafés and McDonalds.
The pool and BBQ areas are lovely
It looks good for families of all ages with a wading pool as well as a deep pool. The staff - both room and reception staff were friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Great alternative to Maroochydore.

This is the place we always stay in Coolum, it is very handy to walk to the shops. The view from the rooms is magnificient. We stay in a studio room mainly because we view the sea from the bed, almost like being onboard a ship! The room has everything we need, no cooking facilities however but we sacrifice that for enjoyment of being able to sit in bed and enjoy a coffee whilst looking at the sea, see photo. There are lifts, so no climbing stairs. The staff are great.

As Coolum as such a loverly place l was extremely disappointed in this Hotel. Being straight across from the beach it was old and smelt. The reception area smelt like an old warn out Hotel which it was. The room was clean but could have been cleaner and it had rust every where in the kitchen on the washing machine in the bathroom ect. The toilet seat was broken and that was also rusty. During the night the soap dish in the shower fell off the wall which scared me to no end. The view was ok you could hear the beach and see it but was straight across from the pool didn't feel like much privacy when sitting on the balcony with different chairs and old table. Would not return and for the price no way not worth it at all. One more thing no personality at reception not very welcoming seemed stressed.

When my wife and I stayed there the room was spotless. Not once did we see mould in the bathroom or anywhere else.Take a tip from Made Wijaya,Trust the staff at the resort to make your stay comfortable. And if you can find a better location for the price in Coolum, please let me know. I doubt you will. Made Wijaya. :)
