We were here for a single night and the staff were great on arrival. We had a ground lvl room that was in need of a refurb and probably a new bed as well...needing a $200 deposit in this day and age is a bit excessive considering almost everyone pays with a card so just modify your T&C's a bit... id probably stay again but there are cheaper options for the same quality too.

We stayed for two nights and requested a king bed full ocean view room. Upon arriving we were given a partial view room (and thats if you stood up, not sat down on the outdoor chairs) and a queen bed.
I went back to reception to be told there was nowhere else we could be shifted to as they were very busy. Imagine my surprise when for the next two days there were signs out the front advertising their vacancies.
The rooms were clean as was the BBQ area and the pool was also spotless. However the pool was freezing and we never saw anyone using it at all.
The resort is very well situated, straight across from the beach and there were two restaurants right next door and a lot more only a two minute stroll away.
The rooms are quite dated and the bathroom is an issue as the shower is over a spa bath which was quite difficult to get into as it was quite high. My husband even broke his toe when he hit the screen trying to swing his leg over. It would be totally impractical for any older people as they would not be able to access the shower. I don't know if there were rooms without this bathroom configuration and it might be well worth asking before booking. Check carefully also that you will get a proper view as some of the units look like they have fabulous views.
If yu want a cheap stay in a great location with clean rooms and grounds this resort would suit you but just be aware of the flaws

We enjoyed our stay and the staff, especially Amber, were fantastic, who ensured our room met our expectations.
Our room had an ocean view and we watched the sun rise and set each day.
The room was modern and clean and it was great having a car space. With a pool and close proximity to the restaurants, we’ll definitely return.

My wife & I have travelled all over the world & we won't stay anywhere rated less than 4 star. When we got there we were greeted by Amber a pleasant young lady on reception & Wade & Kath who are the managers. They were all really welcoming. The 2 room apartment overlooking the beach was was quite exceptional. Our 2 boys loved it as well. We could not keep the boys out of the pool & when we did, we could walk to the beach, surf club or many of the restaurants in Coolum. The decor, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms & especially the view from our balcony was up with many 4.5 & 5 star accomodation we'd stayed in previously. We'll definitely be back!!! Can't wait.

Friendly welcome on arrival and pleasant farewell on departure from Receptionist Amber. The Resort is getting tired but our room was clean and functional. Our ocean view room was worth the bit extra as the ocean view aspect is great, see 2 photos. The resort enjoys a very convenient location across the road from Coolum Beach and is a short walk to a range of shops includes cafes and restaurants.

When my wife and I stayed there the room was spotless. Not once did we see mould in the bathroom or anywhere else.Take a tip from Made Wijaya,Trust the staff at the resort to make your stay comfortable. And if you can find a better location for the price in Coolum, please let me know. I doubt you will. Made Wijaya. :)
