We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the 7th floor with a fantastic view overlooking the magical Coolangatta ocean. Listening to the ocean at night and early in the morning is the best way to live.
There is a great gym, spa, sauna and huge pool plus bbq.
The location of close to shops, restaurants and Woolies is ideal.
The Coolangatta Sands Hotel across the road has great daily & nightly meal specials.
It is great that isn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle. So close to walk around to Kirra Surf Club and beach.

Loved the position. Close to shops, cinema, more eating places than you could count, literally at your doorstep. And the beach is right across the road. Also loved the accommodation - large well appointed rooms with views across the beach and ocean, large pool with toddler area, large gym with plenty of equipment, spa, sauna and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend highly.

The hotel is in a perfect location with a lovely view and a very short walk to shops restaurants etc. We stayed in the apartment on one of the higher floors and could not hear any traffic. The room was modern and clean with a beachy, contemporary feel as well as new and working appliances. All the rooms were near perfect with maybe the only exception being the smaller bedroom as that lacked both natural lighting (minimal windows which were up high and small) and the lights that were installed provided an uncomfortable feel as well as the beds were not comfortable and it seemed the room itself lacked any real thought or care. One concern I did have was that there was a lower window in the master bedroom which if opened could be a serious falling danger to younger children (especially from that height). Also the inside spa and sauna did not work. Otherwise they had a great outside pool and gym looked professional. During our stay we were also fortunate enough to be able to visit a touring circus/carnival which was situated just in front of the hotel. The staff members were lovely the majority of the time and the reception was neat. It was a near-perfect stay and I would definitely visit again.

A family gathering required us to find Family Friendly accommodation near Coolangatta Airport and Kirra. We had a recommendation from a friend, and so glad we investigated. Ideally located a short Taxi drive from Coolangatta airport, a short 15 mins walk to Twin Towns, and with spectacular views. We stayed in September, Whale watching season, and we saw whales , every day. We booked a double room, everything was provided. A veritable plethora of eating establishments within a 15 min walk. The property also has a child friendly pool, a well equipped Gym, a sauna and a spa. We will stay again.

We are with Accor and we scored this at a really great rate!
At arrival, we probably looked a bit feral after being at a music festival for four days but the staff were really friendly to us and were prompt with check in.
The location was awesome - we got a ocean view 3 bedroom apartment and was perfect for our group of 6. Everything was modern and clean - there was lots of space too. It's close to the main street and to the beach which was handy so we could walk everywhere.
The staff were really helpful to recommend places to go to eat for our age group and also to find general things (bottle shop etc..). They even asked how our day was going as you walked past reception too.
Even though it was July - we used the pool as it was heated and was awesome. Facilities at the pool were also clean.
The two car spaces included too was an added bonus to us. It was undercover and secure as well with your key pass needed to get in and out.
They were working on the gym and sauna area when we arrived but didn't bother us too much. There was some maintenance going on as well but we hardly heard any noise (we probably made more than them..) nor did it disrupt our stay.
We were all really impressed with Sebel Coolangatta - we will come back!
