Write a reviewWe stayed at Billabong Moon on Saturday night with good friends and can't wait to do it again.
It's a stunning property and feels more like a retreat than a night in the Hunter.
The cottage is divine, impeccably clean, has all the utilities you need (complete with private ensuite off both bedrooms), and is situated aside a picturesque 'billabong'.
They've thought of everything, right down to the netted outhouse so that you can enjoy a glass of wine by the water of an evening without being eaten alive.
We slept like babies (too much wine, or really comfy bed?? Both?!), it was the perfect weekend getaway and we can't wait to return.
Oh, and there's a divine pool with lounge chairs on the property if you're that way inclined.

Well located mini homes spread over a rural setting provide the perfect stay for couples, families and wedding parties!!
Our beautiful daughter had a memorable elopement package including an elegant service on the deck adjacent to the pool area.
The well treed and picturesque property provided the perfect setting for the after wedding photos.
Management had prepared the property expertly the day before and was available to satisfy any requirement!
The two bedroom home, on the lake, was the perfect accomodation for the married couple and the deck over the lake's edge provided a great setting for the after wedding BBQ.
If you are thinking of sampling the local, Hunter Valley, wines and touring the region, this is the place to stay!!

When I saw the Billabong Moon property I knew I had to stay there. It was a beautiful oasis in the heat of the Hunter Valley summer. We went as two couples and really enjoyed swimming in pool, lounging on the deck of the Billabong Cottage and loved that there was so much wildlife on the property including southern grey kangaroos.

We stayed here for our 15th Wedding Anniversary on the "Studio" cottage. Absolutely beautiful................ very romantic setting and all the extra touches made our escape even better - cheese plate, bottle of wine, choccies and plenty of fresh provisions for breaky both days. The owners very friendly and the pool was lovely and clean on our very hot stay!! The cottage was air conditoned and stocked with a great range of magazines, CDS and candles!! Located in a lovely spot in the Hunter Valley - cant wait to return!! Thanks

Visited on recommendation from family in UK who had stayed many years ago. Visited with our daughter s as part of a our one month trip to Oz. Excellent accomodation, spacious, well stocked fridge. Gas BBQ . Outstanding hosts Andy & Jenny. One night was to short. Highly recommended. Additional facilities of rowing boat, fishing, swimming pool enhanced the pleasure of our stay.
