Most popular question about the rooms
From the photos it appears as though the bathrooms do not have a free standing shower, only a shower over a bath, is that correct? We are looking at a 3 bedroom villa.

First time in Port Douglas. Paradise Links had good reviews and seemed to be a value option.
Our stay in a 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The apartment was clean and airy, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The amenities were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Went to Paradise Links in October and loved it. We stayed in a two interconnecting rooms and the rooms were a great size and had all the facilities that you would need. The pool was nice and spacious and had lots of shade. We also could hire bikes and tennis rackets to use on the tennis court. The resort had free wifi at reception which was really handy as well. People at reception very friendly as well and helped us with our travel needs. Golf Course was right next to the resort so could walk there and have a look. Also could walk to four mile beach which wasn't far away. The room was also very clean and well maintained. Would definitely come back again.

We stayed in a two bedroom Villa that met all of our requirements: spacious, well presented and our chance to have a home away from home. All we did was buy our own food, taking advantage of the very best local produce. Local Barramundi, fresh vegetables and fruits that tasted superb! After dining out wears off, this is the way to go!

Stayed there for my birthday for a night.
I booked directly and the staff member was amazing, so was also the checkin lady.
I received a lovely surprise from the Resort.
A bottle of Sparkling, with a lovely Card.... A Very nice touch.

The room was a bit on the smaller side and could use new paint. Lots of marks on one wall.
The bathroom was huge and the bath/shower worked very well.
Just be aware when you book and have walking problems...its not easy to get into the shower. You have to climb 3 steps into a spa bath..
Beds were comfortable.
It was very quiet at night time.
Parking is available but with no allocated spaces.... We were lucky to get one in front of our room.
Pool area is ok but the garden needs a bit of TLC, especially the Palms..... and also the sun lounge covers needs a good scrub. They are supposed to be white.

Our Balcony had 2 chairs on it and the view was onto the Pool, but also in front of us was a huge !!!!!!!!! spiderweb. Nearly a metre in size. Also we had a double lane of Ants crawling above our heads on the Balcony. But that is Nature....Unfortunately we had no fly screen on our Patio door. So we couldn't sleep with the windows open.

To go to the town centre you need a car or use the local shuttle bus service which cost I think $ 5.00

Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner is not available at the Resort but the Golfclub with its Restaurant is a 5 min walk and the view is great, overlooking the Golf course....

I would give our room just 3 star rating but Customer service made up for it.

Dear hhx2_12 Thank you for your review. We really appreciate your feedback. Being in the tropics does certainly pose some challenges from time to time. Palm trees are constantly shedding fronds, and the gardens currently are tricky as we are under stage 2 water restrictions but with rain overnight. This brings a few other challenges for sure. Our apologies for this as we do try hard to keep all this in tip top condition. Thanks again and we hope you will visit us again soon. Kind regards Liz
