We stayed for 2 nights at Dahlia’s and had an amazing time. Sharon is really friendly and her pets are really cute. The room is small but cozy, with a nice bed and your own bathroom! Besides Sharon put much love and energy in the decorations of the rooms, so it really feels like home. She can also give you some tips what to do around the Island. Also don’t forget to try a delicious gin-tonic here! We definitely will come back!
Had a great stay at DAHLIA Guesthouse & Gin Bar! Unfortunately i was there for only 1 night... As a backpacker, I really enjoyed having a private room + bathroom in between all the hostels, and also for a great price! The guesthouse is very clean and nicely decorated! The beds are very comfy and the wall paintings and the scented sticks give a nice extra touch. Also, the 2 dogs and cat are super lovely! Thanks for everything Sharon!!
We stayed 3 nights at the guesthouse. Sharon, the owner, really helped us in getting from the airport to the guesthouse by giving tips on transportation and how to get around in Sihanoukville. When we arrived at the island she was waiting for us at the pier and took us to Dahlia. It was a really warm welcome! Dahlia is situated on a hill not even 5 minutes walk from the pier (so also from the beach!). The guesthouse has a beautiful view over the sea. At the ground level there is a gin bar where she serves over 40 gins. The decoration is really well done. Upstairs there are 6 bedrooms and we got the ‘Tulip’ room. There was a welcome sign with our names on the door with our names. The room was amazing! It is, in my opinion the best place I have stayed in Asia so far! There were some amenities such as soaps, earplugs and a sleeping mask. We had our private bathroom with cold water, however if you would like to have a hot shower Sharon offered every guest to shower in her private bathroom which has a hot shower (which was super clean). The beds and sheets were super clean and there was a fan in the room, which made the room nice and cool when we were there. Upstairs, there is a tv area and a balcony with the most amazing view where you can read a book or have an amazing gin and tonic. Unfortunately, we had really bad weather when we were on the island, nevertheless Sharon made sure that we didn’t get bored. We played games, walked the dogs and visited other great spots on the island such as Clear water bay. The village itself is small but has so many hidden treasures so definitely worth the visit and is a complete oasis compared to Sihanoukville.
