I booked this hotel because they do Park, Stay & Fly and are in the vicinity of Charles De Gaulle airport … so very convenient for my teenage daughter and myself (mum) especially as we live in England and I can’t see where else I would park my car. The day before my stay, I received an email offering me to complete my checking online which I did. Whilst doing so, I was asked whether I wanted to upgrade free of charge to a superior room or even better, to a privilege room with nexpresso machine (yes please!), sleepers and dressing gown (Whoop Whoop from for the teenage daughter who wanted nothing else but to take full advantage of the swimming pool and pamper herself). To my surprise though, the upgrade was 50 euros CHEAPER. What more can we ask? I had, however, asked whether it was possible to have twin beds rather than a double bed. When we arrived in our room, we noticed it was no longer a privilege room. I phoned the reception and was told that was due to me asking for twin beds so instead we still had a superior room. I thanked the staff for trying to accommodate the twin beds but explained that I preferred a double bed if that got me a privilege room because nexpresso, drinks in the fridge, more space, sleepers and a bathrobe were worth me sharing a bed with my daughter. They immediately changed us again to a privilege room and … whilst we were enjoying the swimming pool, brought a spare single bed!! It was clear to the staff that it was a special time for us and I felt they did everything to make it such. Thank you to all the staff.

It does not look pretty from outside but inside is quite different, very modern in areas and our room was great clean and had all you needed.
It’s only 10 minutes from T1 CDG walking and shuttle train, get off st first stop PR and follow signs.
Lacking better food service especially for kids and restaurant does not open until 7pm which was not great after 24hrs travel and very tired grumpy kids and adults. Ended up going back to T1 for dinner that was decent price wise. I can’t pay 17Euro for room service cheese burger the $35 where we are from. Reception was helpful in some ways but very slow and gave wrong information on food availability.
Also windows need cleaning guys
There is a pool and gym which was a welcome although water was a bit cold 🥶

In saying that I would recommend this hotel and price was good too for a family room for a night.

When I arrived at the airport after a long flight I had no idea of how to reach the hotel. I had to call the reception and finally I had the right directions.First of all you have to catch a shuttle train ( that is free) from Terminal 2 or 3.Then from the station PARK R of this shuttle you have to walk about 10 minutes to rach the hotel.I really do not understand why these indications are not in the webpage of the hotel.Rhat said, I have to praise the receptionists and generaly speaking all the staff of the hotel. The swimming pool is an addition to the comfort of this hotel.Breakfast was also more than enough. On our way back to the Airport we learned there was a free shuttle from the hotel, so we booked it and took it.Perfect english spoken everywhere in the hotel.Sure I would go back now that I know my way !!

Good things:

Friendly staff
Very quiet even with the airport being so close
Close to CDG
Shuttle from the hotel to CDG
Pool
Restaurant
Bar

Not so great:

The hotel is not as close to the airport as it seems. After you take the train from CDG, you have to walk about 7 min with your luggage to the hotel.

The restaurant is a not bad, and they have some good dishes + breakfast in the morning, but the food quality is not consistent.

Dear Sophien,
We thank you for taking the time to leave a comment about your stay with us. It will help us improve.
We are delighted to hear that the staff as well as some of our services have you more.
Indeed, to get to the hotel, you have to take the CDGVal located about 5 minutes walk. However, if your baggage is too big, you can call the hotel and we will do our best to pick you up at the PR car park.

Best regards,
Karine Escurat,
General Director

Last minute trip to Paris, so went by car hence decision to stay at the airport. The hotel was very clean and well-equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. For example, our room safe was broken, so they sent someone to fix it straight away.
The airport was easily accessible by shuttle bus from the hotel or the shuttle train-a short walk away. One of the doormen at the hotel drove us to the shuttle train to show us where it was, as we had just missed shuttle bus. RER train to Paris very easy.
The food was good, but rather expensive as we're the drinks. Bar area was equipped with pool table and selection of board games, so kept kids entertained. The pool was great although much smaller than it appeared in the pictures.
Secure parking on site, but expensive at €25 per day.

Questions & answers about the pool

If you don't mind walking a bit it seems easier to take the airport parking shuttle to the hotel than the hotel shuttle. Ask for the tram/train station to the airport parking. You do not need to purchase a ticket for this shuttle. Once on the platform, the sign has a small lettered posting for the Mercure. Get off at that stop and go around to the right of the first big building, which is airport administration and police, and then you will see the Mercure in front of you. Go around the right side of the building to the front entrance. Yes, they have a small refrigerator in the rooms. I believe you can get the hotel shuttle to terminal one, just ask at reception upon arrival. No idea of pool closure time. TripAdvisor won't allow a posting of website links - sorry!
