Great choice of hotel in Toulouse. Location was perfect, near all attractions, restaurants, squares, couldn't fault it. We loved the relaxed approach at this hotel, friendly helpful staff, lovely pool area with bar.
Our room was on the small side but think this is pretty standard, other than that comfy bed, good air con, well appointed bathroom, tea and coffee making (only niggle was the disposable cups).
The breakfast room looked bright and airy.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, excellent location, good value with the benefit of a pool, a 4+* experience
Check in. There was only one employee on the reception when I arrived. When I arrived, told him about my reservation and gave him my passport, he began doing something, in a minute he started talking to someone in the phone and kept talking for next 10 minutes completely ignoring me. A line of other visitors formed behind me, and only after that he decided to finally serve me.
Room service. When we checked in to the hotel after a long drive and called the room service and started ordering items from their menu, non of them were available and they recommended us not even to try using their room service, but call a local delivery, without providing any details about it. They were so ashamed of their own service, they they didn’t even try to serve us.
WIFI. There is no opportunity to connect to the internet in the lobby, even though it is claimed that WIFI works on all the floors, in rooms, next to the pool, and obviously in the lobby, but in reality there is a network with a password, which has exact name with the hotel, but staff refuses to give the password and claim that there is only one insecure network available or the guests.
The pool. The first photo when u google this hotel is the nice looking and good size pool. In reality it’s so tiny that it won’t even fit a baby. When we finally tried it, the water temperature was extremely low that it made it impossible to enjoy time around the “pool”.
No washroom on the lobby floor. I don’t think that this is acceptable unless hotel is located in an ancient building where it is technically impossible to have a bathroom on the ground floor, but this isn’t that case. The only available bathroom is located on the 6th floor.
We were the first weekend of July. It is a highly recommended hotel both for its location and for its staff, all very friendly. It has a pool with bar and terrace on the first floor that is open until ten o'clock at night. It was great for us to cool off on hot days. Breakfast very good, very varied. And the beds very comfortable. At reception they leave you some chargers for mobiles, very useful. In conclusion, we have been very comfortable.
Excellent location, with all areas accessible, but mind the bicycles! Friendly and helpful staff. Our key cards were very unreliable, requiring constant visits to reception. The swimming pool is very small and hardly worth bothering with. The terrace is disappointing, rather drab and uninviting and looks out on some neglected buildings. The air conditioning in our room was barely functioning, if at all. However, for a hotel as a base for exploring the area, it is a no frills adequate establishment.
The hotel is in a good location for the centre of Toulouse. Most attractions and shopping areas are within walking distance.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
There is a nice terrace with a bar which is a pleasant place to sit in the sunshine. It also has a small pool if you feel like a dip.
The room was comfortable and clean.
