This hotel has so much potential, due to the facts that its at the heart of Bournemouth pier and beaches it lacks care & attention. We spent 4 nights at this hotel, the breakfast was lovely, but the dinner was awful tasted blend. We ate out the rest of the days. The room was a good size with beautiful seaview. What spoilt it was the curtains hanging off the pole, stains on the table, window seals with black mould. The general up keep and cleanliness was poor. We had room service once during our stay. The spa area was pleasant but the steam room wasnt hot. The gentlemen staff member gave us false information on the Thurs evening which made us miss out due to closing early for deep cleaning. Overall the staff were friendly.& helpful. Love Bournemouth but not the hotel.

I have never been to prison, but if I ever do, I expect the television in my lonely cell will be larger. If you are not long-sighted, bring binoculars. The armchair is very worn. The table lamp, the only option to the vicious overhead light, is a charming example of similar lamps on sale at Wilkinson emporium. The bathroom is brutalist; no bath mat, and the kettle doesn’t fit under the tap in the tiny sink so don’t you go using the solitary water glass for anything else until you’ve filled the kettle with it. There is a perfect example of British 21st century plumbing on view, if interested. Room 613 is not sign posted on the ground floor nor in the lift. It is situated in the “West Wing”, down an unlikely narrow alleyway and up a lonely flight of stairs. Enjoy!

Going online to find a lovely break in the Uk deciding that Bournemouth will be good place to start, Found Royal Bath Hotel with Spa, this is classed a ☆☆☆☆?
Well on arrival lady a desk was new and couldnt understand my Bristolian Accent had to talk slow and repeat about five times, foriegn girl. thought this is good start, took my monies all £500 for 2 nights BB& Evening meal with Sea view . I had to ask where room was and food serving time on a piece of A4 paper?Hotel room a very small Boxed Room with partial view, Flowers I ordered was scattered on small Dresser water everwhere.. Not Happy.
Found Hotel manager Ian told him about room flowers etc and was very Appolgectic, Moved us straight away to new room after comfirming booked directly with Britania Holidays, this was a lot better thought great start now we can have a good time,
Evening meal here we come, Cold plates, cold food, poor staffing leaving uncleared plates on tables..Another couple grab duty Manger and he in turned spoke with his staff and tables started to get cleared.
Breakfast time after sleeping in hard bed, Cold foods again , over cooked also, only good thing Toast.
Thinking do I complain again ? Or cut my loses?Decided to cut my loses as even room wasn't cleaned after coming back from our walk around town about 1430hrs, Dirty cups still on side with new milk supplies only.. ☆☆☆☆ be giving it a ☆ in my view . Better to go abroad.
As for Spa couldn't get to book a slot that was this was main reason for this Hotel ..

Where to start!!!!! Pictures look great on the internet, I wish I read the reviews before booking. The place needs shutting down. It looks as if it's going to fall down. Absolutely disgusting. We paid £135 for a 1 night stay, the room was filthy, dust, hairs, cobwebs, crumbs, bogies. Alimunuim windows, which were filthy. Tiny bathroom, again, disgusting, outdated. All the furniture looks like it is from the dump. Pure and utter dive. Says you have free parking when you arrive you have to pay £25!! You also have to pay extra for the use of the swimming pool etc. Breakfast was vile, eggs were raw, sausages were hard and chewy, mushrooms tasteless. Bacon we didn't touch. Poor selection of cereal, tea and coffee was right over the other side of the hall. Overall a very very disappointing stay. Will not be returning or recommending!!!!!

This is a hotel trading on its former glory. Our room was large, with a sea view but with a tiny and nasty bathroom - weird, noisy plumbing.
Staff were pleasant but slow.
Extra £25 to park, via valet, which was slow - factor in 15/20 mins to get your car back.
Breakfast was poor - instant coffee only (in packets). No croissant, the worst porridge ever.
Extra £5 if you want to use the pool/gym. Really? I have never seen this in any other hotel.
But, it’s central and the bar has a certain faded grandeur.
Prob won’t return.
