A good premier Inn; clean good-sizes room. Comfortable bed. We had dinner there on tow nights, the food was very good particularly so for a budget hotel. The shower was over the bath; there was no hand grip to help you in and out, I nearly slipped getting out of the bath, the receptionist was told. Try not to get a room overlooking the main road, the double glazing is good for soundproofing but then the room gets stuffy.
Good quality room with comfortable bed and all necessary facilities. We had a quiet room overlooking the upper deck of the car park (rooms on the other side of the building overlook the A14). Friendly welcome when we checked in and the receptionist (Alison) was very helpful in giving us directions for places we needed to drive to. With the current road works in the area, her advice was invaluable.
The staff here are what make this place. Really friendly with nothing too much trouble. It it close to the A14 which has major roadworks at the moment so be prepared to come off at different junctions, to find your way there. It's close to Cambridge centre too (approx 4-5 miles if that) and easy to get to M11 from A14. Reception is efficient, food is great and the rooms are comfortable. Can recommend and yes it is in the middle of a housing estate! If it get there and think, where am I, you're not far away! Depending on what room you get, at the back and nearer to the motorway, you may hear this, depending on how well you sleep. Hence the reason for the score.
Good Premier Inn in convenient location on edge of Cambridge. Bus very close by, plenty of parking on site and bike racks. Room comfortable and very clean. Usual breakfast in on site restaurant perfectly adequate. Staff particularly friendly.
I had a comfortable stay at this premier inn the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable and large. Service was friendly and efficient, breakfast was good quality and value for money. The only downside was it was noisy with the window open.
