Very nice, quiet and clean place. We had an absolutely pleasant stay there, and 100% recommend it. Lot of space for tents, cars... Perfect for families. Swimming pool is great, staff is amazing, and the price was very fine for us (39e /night w. electricity).

Stayed her for a fortnight with family whilst daughters competed in oceanperf surf lifesaving in mid August.

We are use to very crowded sites at this time of the year so what a suprise to find space, piece and quiet!
Pitches large and green. Plenty of water and hook ups.
Toilets always seemed clean whatever time of day so no complaints there.
The toilets are mixed gender as are most of France unless frequented or owned by the Dutch campers.
Toilet roll supplied 😊
Bread can be ordered night before by writing on wall by bar.
Nice bar and restaurant with basic food served. Closes very early for France, latest we see it open was 10.30 but suits us!
No entertainment of an evening ofr themed evenings which often happen on these sites.
Clean spacious pool lots of sun beds. Never busy no lifeguard so relaxed and parent policed 😉
Very friendly owners who show you to pitch.
Barrier closed around 11pm so no late night car door banging. Plenty of secure parking for late night outings.
Gardens and planting a treat.
We drove to coast in capbreton each day which is a 20-25 min drive although local beach is lovely and 10mins away. It was worth the drive to avoid the large cramped pitches on nearer sites.

The site is very green and we seemed to hv a shower of rain each day but this just freshened the air. It was in 30s so welcome relief!
My younger daughter attended the children's club which was art and craft based which she enjoyed practising her french each day.
I think this will be a site we return to each year.
Only two comments for owners please please provide soap to wash hands ! Such a basic thing but such a necessary requirement in this day and age. France seems to be a bit behind on this.
Secondly please repair spring on pool gate 😉.
A real gem thank you and see you next year.😎😎😎

We arrived at Santander at 5.30pm and after slow departure and customs we didn’t hit the road until about 7pm. We phoned ahead and the owners were happy to wait for us (arriving after 10pm).

The campsite is beautiful with large green pitches in a mixture of shade and sun. A super relaxed campsite with good facilities and a lovely pool. The temperature of the pool is good, not sure if it’s heated but a few weeks of 40°C before we arrived has done a good job at raising the temp.

This campsite is not a lively campsite so don’t expected live music and late night entertainment. It is basic with a pool side bar, small restaurant/ take away (we didn’t eat here), a couple of parks, basketball court and a couple of boules courts.

It was a lovely stay and would highly recommend!

To be honest we did intend to stay at a site that we have previously stated at,however, that site insists on a minimum 3 nights at this time of year so we looked for an alternative and found this beautiful site. Fate is a wonderful thing !

We were travelling back to the uk from Spain and up against a tight itenery so every site was only a one night stay .

This was perfect,so close to the motorway ,3 miles, great easy access and off the main road therefore easy to find ,a very mature and immaculate site with mature trees and hedges, fantastic road , great pool area and as it was early July the cafe bar wasn’t open but they were cleaning it so I could see it looks fantastic.

Shower blocks immaculate, lovely generous pitches on well drained grass ,10 amp electricity and dogs allowed with a nice dog walk .

We are intending to return with our daughter and her family in August as the beach is only 5/10 mins away with a free shuttle bus available ,so the kids will love this area and a great site to return to after a day out .

Very many thanks for providing such a lovely site for us all to enjoy ,we wish you a successful season.

Stayed this summer for the second time. This is a peacful campsite with very large, green, pitches. Even in mid-season a large proportion (up to half) of pitches are empty which is good because you often have noone right next to you and it allows time for the grass to grow back between bookings. This is aided by the frequent rain though - beware, it might be the south of France but it is not unusual to have several consequtive days of rainy weather in the Bayonne/Biarritz area even in August.

The showers/toliets are very clean and there is never a wait. The owners are welcoming and attentive. Pool is clean with plenty of free space.

Overall an excellent campsite that we will probably visit many times more.

Our only complaint is the 'restaurant' which often falls short. It is ideal for a midday icecream or snack but the service is very slow in the evenings, a little pricey, and the quality of the food not brilliant. That was just a blip on an otherwise perfect stay. Would thoroughly recommend.
