I was taken away for a surprise weekend. What a wonderful, hidden gem of a place. In the middle of nowhere, but a superb, relaxing environment. Our hosts, Simon and Kim, we're welcoming, informative, with nothing too much trouble. As a birthday weekend, they made it special for me. Lots of thoughtful extra touches - flowers on the bed, in the bathroom, as well as huge scented arrangement in our room. The wildlife, flora and fauna were wonderful, with many birds that I had not previously seen.
The food was excellent with French influences, our hosts being Francophiles, as are we. The breakfasts were substantial too, setting us up for a day of wine tasting and sightseeing. I sincerely hope we may return again for another relaxing weekend in the not too distant future.

We stayed at Peppermint Lane with our group of friends (4 couples) and experienced the most wonderful weekend. We had the entire property to ourselves and Simon and Kim were exceptional hosts and cooked up a fabulous French gourmet dinner for us on Saturday night.
They arranged a pre dinner wine tasting for us from a local winery and the meal could have graced a Michelin rated restaurant. Amazing delicious breakfasts also. The room was very comfortable with attention to detail (flowers everywhere) and with a balcony overlooking
a manicured garden and lovely bushlandland background. The Ferguson Valley is our favourite getaway for a relaxing weekend and we visited many wineries and galleries in the valley. The whole weekend was special and i would recommend Peppermint Lane for an indulgent weekend and value for money.

Kim of Peppermint Lane Lodge was my saviour on my big day, and offered us her own bathroom for us to get ready because my husband to be was taking too long in the shower! We had to call Kim for help again when Mum was having difficulty with the clasps on my dress. Then she helped me with my hair,...the list goes on! I guess you could say that there is a friendly and personal touch to Peppermint Lane Lodge! I really don't think Mum and I would have coped without Kim!! A gorgeous room filled with fresh flowers, yummy breakfast, beautiful grounds, great conversation and champagne to boot! What a wonderful way to round off a brilliant weekend, thanks again Kim xxx

Peppermint Lane Lodge is an amazing experience and should be on everyone's list of things to do. Kim and Simon are fantastic hosts and the food is devine. The personal touches like the fresh flowers in every room and home made cake to go with your cup of tea add to the experience. I love the fact that you don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to have breakfast, you can have a bit of a sleep in! The surroundings are beautiful and relaxing and it's a short drive to some of WA's best wineries.
