We arrived very early in the morning (4am), but the people here loved to help us and even let us into our room. From then on it only got better. Lovely view, very clean, nice and helpfull staff. The pool is a grwat way to cool down after a long day in the sun. The onky thing I missed was a sunbed of some sort to relax and read a book in the sun. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
By far one of the highlights of our trip so far, Tam Coc is such a beautiful place to visit and this homestay really made it for us. We arrived really late but one of the staff had written me a lovely letter welcoming us, providing information and WiFi passwords etc. In the morning Sarah then sat down with us and showed us a map with the main sites to see in Tam Coc/Ninh Binh, prices, how far away. This was such a wonderful welcome as we weren’t too sure where to go or what to do and the local knowledge really helped. Sarah and the rest of the staff couldn’t have done more for us whilst we were here.
The best thing about this homestay is that it’s really beautiful and incredible value for money. For 3 nights stay in their best room, 2 and a half days renting motorbikes and laundrette service we paid £120! This included breakfast every morning. Staying here is a no brainer.
Thank you to Sarah and the rest of the staff for being so great.
When does a homestay become a hotel ? This is definitely a hotel but I don't mean that in a negative way. The location is nice next to the lake although you don't really have a view of the lake. It's a stroll from the boat ramp and some decent restaurants so the location is very good.
The rooms are very modern and comfortable although not huge. We asked to be moved from downstairs to upstairs as it feels very public with all those windows downstairs. Very happy with the room we got upstairs though.
If you are looking for something modern then it's a good choice. Want something with more of a local flavour then I would look elsewhere.
We spent two nights in that nice new and clean hotel. The surrounding area was beautiful, with the pool. The room was big, the bathroom was luxurious.
The breakfast is ok, there was a menu (omlette, scambled eggs, fried eggs, pancakes, noodle soup, jam+butter+bread, juices, caffe, tea). You can choose one meal and one drink out of them.
The stuff was very friendly, and they partly spoke English.
I would recommend this place for everyone.
